“Great value for the money!”
Reviewed 19 July 2014

Our room was big, clean and quiet. It didn't smell of cigarette smoke. The wifi was strong. The man at the front desk was helpful. We spent a little bit more (~$10/night) for this hotel rather than any of the hotels near the airport, but it was money well spent. The drive was in the opposite way of downtown Seattle, but it was easy and beautiful. For the amount we spent, we were both very glad that we picked this hotel. We traveled in July 2014.

At 5AM the first night of there stay we were notified that the coffee maker wasn't working , and the hot water in shower wasn't working .When office opened a new coffee-maker was given, and when maintenance arrived the shower faucet was fixed. When the guests complained of a noisy air conditioner, another room was offered to them, which they declined to even look at . They ended up extending there stay to 11 days. There is no kitchen area in the rooms, so I don't know what they are talking about there.

Stayed there years ago when it was The Ramada and Des Moines was a different place, we enjoyed it then. Upon check in no one was @ the front desk, they have a sign asking you to use the house phone.to get service, Turned out the desk woman was driving the van to the airport and told me via cell to hang tight she'd be back in a half hour (turned out to be an hour), When she finally showed she made me wait while she checked in the people she brought back. If your looking for a really bad experience, then I recommend this place. Poorly maintained (light fixtures hanging by one loose screw) and so on. Has no professional staff, just a live in couple that are un-reliable, if you can even get ahold of them and drag them from their room. Asked for housekeeping when leaving for the afternoon and she said no problem, Came back to find no go, She came back with a whole different story about how it was my fault that "they only come by in the morning", I had to remind her it was 11 am when we had the conversation. She denied even having the conversation with me although I had a relative with me as a witness and a receipt from making payment when I asked her.. When I complained I got a harassing call back to my room from someone claiming to be the housekeeping supervisor and was very rude to say the least (pretty sure it was her). Not exactly sure what her dead-beat boyfriends position is aside from making guests feel un-welcome. Perhaps they both should put down the drugs, and get out some tools and maintain the place a bit. Customer service might be a plus also. They act as if they are to good for your money....Beware!!!! Place is a let down.

When a guest has a complaint or a bad review, and they wait 6 months to post it, it is very hard and not fair to the hotel. No one here remembers this instance, or the guests, so we have no way of responding to the complaint. If they had complained after there stay, we would have remembered them ,(perhaps that is why they waited , so we wouldn't remember them ) and addressed the situation. As far as there allegations of poor service, we are extremely proud of our service and rapport with our guests, please view our other reviews to see for yourself. Thank you for your time.

An older establishment located 15 minutes from airport. The day of our arrival the shuttle (not free) broke down, and I was forced to take a taxi for more money than I would have paid with their shuttle. (pretty annoyed that they charge $25 round-trip for their shuttle, when all the other motels have complimentary shuttle service) Only stayed for 1 night before a flight. The motel is very tired looking. Although the room was large, it was old and dingy looking. The room smelled from old, stale cigarettes, which they tried (unsuccessfully) to cover up with a horrible air-freshener. Breakfast was a joke, the breakfast "nook" was so small with 2 tables with your all-carb selection of bread, muffins, and 2 cereal choices >> froot loops and rice krispies. SKIP IT!
Would not stay there again, and I frequent SeaTac.

When the guest check-in she was upset that we couldn't pick her up as our shuttle was in the shop for repairs. I explained we have no control over breakdowns , which she didn't want to accept as a legitimate reason. She was given a free shuttle ride to the airport the next day,( shuttle was back that night from shop) so she ended up paying less than our round-trip fare. We are a non smoking hotel. But guests break the rules some time, if the guest had notified us of the smell, she would have been given another room. As far as breakfast goes, it is a continental breakfast , NOT a hot, full service breakfast. Out breakfast room has just been moved to a nice roomy remodeled area.

Near the airport. Quiet and inexpensive. Mixed residential setting.
Not a modern place, but the rooms were large and clean, the wifi worked well. The marina is less than a 10 min walk and there are a few good restaurants within very easy walking distance.
Very quiet.
I thought the staff (older gentleman whom I presume is owner or manager) was quite pleasant.

My 2 complaints...TV lineup, and breakfast.
I still enjoyed it and would stay here again.

There is no view of the bay on the street level as advertised. The girl that works the front desk during the daytime has a real customer problem she does not want to please or take care of the customer all she cares about is the computer she is playing with. As far as the room it was clean and sanitary and we had everything we needed until we tried to get 2 extra pillows and that was like trying to get a appointment with a doctor with the VA.

Room Tip: All the rooms are surrounded by streets and traffic. Parking is a tight squeeze.

This isn't a fancy place, but it is nice, clean, quiet, convenient with nice restaurants within one block and the Puget Sound right down the street. Within 20 minutes of Seattle - Tacoma Airport. I gave it an excellent based on the value and being perfect for a good place to sleep before an early flight.
