First there was a Skippers, then there was Vatika, now the remodeled building is under new management. Correct name is "Copper Pot Indian Bar & Grill. Lunch time: The Naan is excellent. Try the Garlic & Basil for its dippin and soppin time. The Goat Curry is excellent served separately from the accompanying fluffy Basmati Rice and in Copper Bottomed pots. An order of Chicken soup arrived beautiful red soup with chicken and veggies and typically spiced about one star. A larger serving in another Copper Bottomed Pot of Peas Pulau rounded out the meal. Plenty left over for take home meal....Interior is very comfortable with cushy booths and standard tables all decked out in Maroon Table Cloths with paper overlay, crystal and linen napkins. Restrooms were clean. he whole interior looked very clean and the open stainless
kitchen was shiny. Parking on the south side of the building is free for diners--a freight train went by but after the whistle all was quiet (nice). Seating outdoors puts you in the busy view of
trains, planes, automobiles, ferries, and people. The quality of the food was very good, served hot, and very good wait service. You can select your spice levels here from one to five star
to suit your own tastes. This is a winner!
