“BEST VACATION STAY WE'VE EVER EXPERIENCED!”

For the dozens of countries and hundreds of vacation stays we've had over the years, I can easily say our experience here has been the best. From the spacious, sprawling, modern and immaculate bungalow with incredible views of the prettiest face of Rainier, to the generous hospitality of all those involved including farm fresh morning eggs and having everything on hand that you might ever think would be needed, I would gladly rate this 10 stars out of 5 if I were able and would not hesitate to come back or highly recommend this to anyone looking for a clean, cozy, country retreat with easy access to Rainier. I hope we have an opportunity to visit again!

Thank you. It means so much to hear from travelers who have stayed all over the world that we are among the best. We have opened our home to share the light of hospitaity with all who come through our doors. Wheter it is the access to the Mountain, the views from the home and deck, or those fresh eggs that the children love to gather so much, we want this place, to be in your hearts and memories forever. Thank you for your kind coments and please cone back again. George

“We had a ball!”
Reviewed 9 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

The house has an excellent view of Mt Rainier from the porch at the back of the house. The property itself is large with plenty of space for kids to run around and play. There was a zipline too on the property and my kids just couldn't have enough of it!

There were also some chicken, and my kids loved to get fresh eggs everyday from them. They also picked some pear-apples and blackberries from the orchard.

The house itself was gorgeous. I was impressed by the architecture of it as much as the quality of construction. With four bedrooms and two large living areas (one of which had a telescope to look at the mountain), there was plenty of room for all of us to sit and relax or run and play!

The kitchen had everything we could need during our stay - pots and pans, dishes, condiments and spices, coffee maker etc.

To top it all off, there was help available by a very pleasant attendant at the property who lived literally at a few minutes' walk from the property.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It was such a joy hosting your family. Kids never tire of the zip line, feeding the chickens and gathering eggs, but most important are the memories you create in those quite evenings watching the ever changing colors on the mountain. Now that you are part of our family we hope you will come back often and recommend us to your family and friends. Thanks again. George

“Peaceful and Luxurious”
Reviewed 28 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We stayed 3 days and enjoyed every minute. The house is large enough that the eight adults (and one child) in our family could easily gather in one room. At the same time the layout allows everyone to have their own space when desired. The house was our base camp for day trips to Crystal Mountain (for the gondola ride and lunch at the Summit House) and for the annual Pacific Northwest Highland Games at the Enumclaw Expo Center. But time spent exploring the farm, relaxing on the deck -- even just gathering to chat and watch television on the very large-screen tvs -- made our time at the house as enjoyable as when we were out and about. Though it was an overcast weekend, Mount Rainier did make an appearance and seeing it from the house is amazing. Inside, the granite countertops, tile and hardwood floors, very nice décor and furnishings were first class. George was very great to work with. We’d say the star of the farm is its manager, Joanna. Can’t imagine a friendlier welcome or a nicer introduction to the farm. Waiting to see what our daily garden gift would be was such fun – eggs, lettuce, carrots and even fresh-picked blackberries. And we did enjoy our introduction to the chickens! A stay here is highly recommended.

What a kind and gracious review! We so enjoy not only sharing our home but also our bounty from the garden and the "girls". Everybody loves the chickens, and their gifts. I am so glad the Mountain poked its head out before you departed! Thanks again for allowing us to host your family. Bring the "CLAN" back to the Highland games again next year! George

“This home is a vacation by itself!”
Reviewed 26 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

George's vacation home is more than we could have asked for! He left no stone unturned when setting his family home up for visitors. This was our first time ever using a vacation home and George and the caretaker Joanna made it so easy for us. We had ages 10 - 75 and all of us found activities at the house we could enjoy. The view was spectacular, plenty of room inside and outside to relax. The house itself is beautiful. My husband occasionally builds houses and I told him to have a good look around because this was what I wanted my house to look like. We'll see how that works for me. I would strongly advise anyone interested to rent this house and I have not stopped raving to my friends on how fantastic our trip was. We had such great customer service! We loved the fresh eggs every morning and we slept like the dead on those fantastic beds. Thank you again George, if we are ever in Washington again we will definitely stay with you!!! God bless you.

Not if,but rather, "WHEN" you return again, we will look forward to hosting your delightful family. We hope that the time you spent here as a family, creating memories in the shadow of Mt Rainier, laughing, playing, and traveling to the many beautiful sites in the PNW will endure for many years in each of your memories. Thank you for allowing me to "share the light of hospitality" with your family. George

“Northwest Paradise”
Reviewed 25 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

Five of us stayed at this beautiful property and did not want to leave. The home is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Each couple and our single member of the group had their own beautiful bedroom and bathroom. The openness of the house allowed for moving about and relaxing comfortably. We especially enjoyed the kitchen as we cooked breakfast and dinner each day. It is supplied with any utensil that you may need to prepare a great meal. Our favorite space was the back deck and the breath-taking view of Mt. Rainier. We sat out there each morning and evening admiring the scenery. The farm manager was extremely helpful and kind and brought us fresh eggs each morning provided by the on-site chickens. The property also has a nice garden and we were given some fresh veggies which we thoroughly enjoyed. The town of Enumclaw is a charming place with several grocery stores, quite a few restaurants, and nice shops, etc. This location is perfect if you wish to venture into the big city of Seattle or escape to Mt. Rainier as each are only around 45 minutes from the farm. We did both and then enjoyed coming back to the quiet and peaceful setting. All of us would highly recommend this property to anyone thinking about visiting this beautiful part of the country. We all agreed before we left that we will definitely come back!!

Thanks for your wonderful review of our beautiful home. It is such a pleasure to be able to share this home with guests from all over the country. The view from the deck is intoxicating and it is easy to find yourself sitting there for hours watching the every changing display of light on Mt Rainier. All that and fresh eggs...how can you turn down fresh eggs! Thanks so much for your kind words and please do come back again.

“BEAUTIFUL, SUPERB HOME AND THE WONDERFUL JOANNA”
Reviewed 7 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

I stayed here for the 4th of July 2015 weekend. I love this home, I also LOVE Joanna the property manager, when I needed anything or had questions Joanna was there ASAP to answer my questions. Joanna made sure that I was comfortable and provided instructions into town and provided great restaurants and stores. Fresh eggs were also brought to my door every morning by Joanna. Many thanks also for the fresh picked blue berries. This home has EVERYTHING, washer, dryer, A/C, tv's in every room, comfortable beds. Everything you need is here on this property. This is a quiet farm property with beautiful scenery, if you visit here take in all that fresh air.

I am so in love with this home, if your ever in WA please visit this home. Many thanks and praise to George for communicating with me every step of the way until I reached town and many, many thanks to Joanna for EVERYTHING. I now consider Joanna a part of our family. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
