“Unbelievable!!!!!!”
Reviewed 9 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

My daughter Nichole's review said it all. What an incredible place to stay. It was terrific if you wanted a quiet peaceful place to get away from it all and just a good for a family with any age children to stay. Mike and Ellen made us feel like family and couldn't do enough for us. Anyone wanting a beautiful peaceful place to stay, better than any 5 star hotel must visit this home.

“Absolutely Perfect!!”
Reviewed 4 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

This vacation rental was absolutely amazing. It was perfect in every way from start to finish.
The house was beyond beautiful. It was unlike any rental I've stayed in before. It truly felt like a home. Every last detail was thought of. The decor made you feel at home. And for being on a farm, there was not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere in the house. It truly was spotless.
Plush, comfortable beds. Big soft towels. Cozy blankets in every room to curl up with. There is a not a detail missed.
But it is the people that make this place even more incredible and that make this property a home. The owner was a pleasure to work with. Made himself available throughout the entire booking process to ensure we were well cared for.
Mike and Ellen, the farm caretakers were the most loveliest of people I have met in a long time. Their willingness to take the time to let my 6 yr old and 3 yr old collect the chicken eggs and feed the cows made this a vacation of lifetime for them!! They have not stopped talking about the animals. My 6 yr old son wants to be a farmer now!! Both Mike and Ellen were so soft and gentle with them. Explaining why you have to be gentle with the eggs (a hard lesson for a 3 yr old!!), teaching about what cows eat, where the vegetables will grow, etc. I know it took time out of their busy day, but they never seemed to be in a rush. They both always had time to smile, talk and hold a hand while walking to the barn.
Of course one of the highlights is the Pirate Play House in the back with the two zip lines. Both my 6 yr old and 3 yr old could have stayed on this all day and night! They never tired of it.
But it is the Pirate Treasure that the pirates drop when they come to their ship at night that was extra exciting. They would drop some of their coins (with the help of Mike) around the pirate ship and the kids wound be astounded when they found it the next morning! This was such an amazing personal touch. It made their day when they found the coins!
It is all the little extras and personal touches that make this rental a great place to stay. But it is the owner and the caretakers that make it home.
Thank you for allowing our family to spend a week there. It truly was amazing.

Nichole and Family: Thank you for your very kind words and beautiful review. When my wife and I opened our vacation home for others to share, it was because of guests exactly like you. Not only did we want to share the beauty of the home, but also the beauty and serenity of the location, the beautiful view of Mt, Rainier, and the joy that living on a farm, close to nature brings. Mike and Ellen really enjoyed their time with you and your family and we hope that you will be back many more times. P.S. the pirates say Argh! Me, treasure be gone! I'll be lookin for them wee pirates on their next visit!

“If you need a place to stay in the Seattle area, this is it!”
Reviewed 2 December 2016 for a stay in November 2016

We feel very lucky to have found this place! My family (all adults) needed a place to stay for an out-of-town Thanksgiving and we couldn't have asked for a better place to converge. The home is beautiful, spacious, modern and meticulously cared for. George, the owner, was super easy to work with and truly attentive to our comfort, as were the caretakers, Mike and Ellen. Here are some of my family's comments.....delightful... everything you need is here... the best VRBO that I have stayed in to date...sipping coffee in the morning watching the sun rise on Mt. Rainier, what more could you ask for?

“Amazing, Awesome, Farm House with a Great View!”
Reviewed 16 October 2016 for a stay in October 2016

There was 5 adults and like other reviewers we all really enjoyed our stay here. First day all of us enjoyed the Playhouse and Zip line. Mike and Ellen were such great Caretakers. George the owner was also texting us about a storm coming in and they were warning us of Power outage. Mike got everything ready for us, luckily it didn't happen. We cooked (kitchen that has everything you could need) a meal that we were able to pick from the farm. We had lettuce salad with tomatoes and raspberry vinaigrette. squash, roasted carrots and chicken. (We didn't eat any Chickens from the farm! I promise!) We got eggs every morning. We picked grapes. We enjoyed every minute we were here. Pictures really do not do justice. We were out here for a wedding with family living a couple of miles away. When we come back to visit family we would love to come back to stay!

Cathy thank you so much. We loved having you there, and I am glad the weather held off, but even if it had come Mike and Ellen were there to make sure you would be comfortable. Your dinner sounded amazing, I wish I had been there. I am going to have Mike re-count those chickens! Thanks so much for your kind words you were great guests and rest assured we will take good care of all your friends and family you send our way. See you next year!

My wife and I have traveled all over the world and have stayed at many properties. This is by far the best property we have ever stayed at!!!! The home is absolutely gorgeous and has every amenity you can think of!!!. If you are even thinking about renting this home, do it now and you will not be disappointed!! The pictures of the home dont even do it justice. George has a beautiful home and has provided every luxury you could possibly need. A wonderful time for all 8 of us-6 adults and two kids. The large house was better than advertised, beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Situated in quiet and beautiful rural setting, meaning only the farm animals could tell the adults may have been more boisterous than the kids at the pirate fort, complete with ziplines! Nice that 4 bedrooms are separated- 2 at each end of the house and the double family rooms will definitely be copied in my next house. George and caretakers Mike and Ellen were perfect hosts-immediately available, but never around. And George handled a last minute reservation request very graciously. Definitely a 5 star experience.

Thank you Ken, we loved having you as "family" in our beautiful home. The cows sure miss the kids playing on the zip lines. I shared your Gold Mining story with my son but he still has the "itch". Might have to send him to Alaska to visit you! Thanks again for your kind words. Your business is so important us.
