I chose this hotel due to its high ratings here on TripAdvisor, but those were not reflected in our experience. The hotel was very crowded for our night here. Due to parking, we had to enter through a back entrance, which smelled like cat urine and where a guest was supervising his two dogs as they did their business (My first alert that this is a "pet friendly" hotel). The decor is dated and our bathroom was poorly maintained, with the back of the toilet ajar and the fan cover pulled down like a maintenance man got called away before completing the job. I could not get the WIFI to work in the evening or the morning. They finally got it repaired just before checkout time. The food at breakfast was above average but the breakfast room was tiny and, as a result, was overcrowded and very hot. Relative to other lodging in the area, the price seemed right, but I would suggest ignoring those high ratings and spending more.

Room Tip: Go to the second floor. First floor has quite a bit of noise generated from above.

the first room we were put in smelled so bad of smoke i almost got sick and the shower would change from scalding hot to freezing cold every couple seconds. we requested another room and specifically said we DID NOT want a room with 2 queen beds as we would only be using one bed and we booked a king. after they found a room for us we went inside and there was queen beds instead of one king like they said they were going to put us in. we had no time to change rooms again as we had to leave to go somewhere. the next morning we had breakfast (just fruit and yogurt) and got sick from it. The fact that they put us in a room with 2 queen beds after we specifically said we did NOT want a room with two beds makes me a little ticked off. We are a couple staying in a room and we didn't even use the second bed. We told the front desk and they said a manager would get back to us the next day. it has been 2 days and still have not heard back from the hotel. Horrible stay, will NOT be going back to this hotel/another Best Western.

Room Tip: just don't stay here. you might as well spend $60 a night and stay in a motel 6 because it would...

We arrived late and check in was fast and easy. Unfortunately none of the three luggage carts were available at check in and although the woman requested on over the radio none arrived. The hotel is clean but the layout is odd. You have to walk past the meeting rooms to get from the front desk to the rooms by going through this interior hallway with ramps. I’m not sure who designed that! We requested a quiet room as we had kids who needed their sleep and our room was great. Our room was nice and plenty clean. I’m sure the hummmmmm of the a/c all night helped with our good sleep…ahhhhh white noise. The wifi was free and worked well enough for the few hours I used it. The breakfast room was VERY full and muggy, but the food was good and there was plenty. The hot options included sausages, bacon, cubed hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy and DIY waffle station (blueberry or plain). There was plenty of fresh fruit for the kids along with toast, muffins/loaf, yogurt, coffee, tea & juice. The price was right too! We’ll stay again!

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room away from the meeting rooms.

exceptional service with a good breakfast with lots of variety. Nice pool as it was quite warm. Location close to freeway and to the waterfront restaurants. Lots of activities at the Arrena and an easy drive to Seattle. Close to the Premium Outlet malls north of Everett.

This hotel did not case about our accomations. When we reserved this room we asked for a rollaway. I reminded the front desk again that we needed a rollaway, which they just said that it would be an extra 10 dollars a night...no problem. The rollaway never came. We called the front desk that night and all the rollaways were gone. They didn't even offer a room with two beds or even extra linens so that we could set up somewhere for my daughter to sleep. They did say that we could have a rollaway the next night. Shockingly, one never came. I have never had such a poor experience.

The staff was very helpful, the rooms were clean and well appointed. Only downside was traffic noise if the windows were open. The pool and Jacuzzi area looked nice and were popular with other guests. The hotel was also close to the freeway and had several restaurants, coffee stands, etc., within walking distance.
