We used to enjoy South Lake Pizza a lot...with teenagers in the house, it was regular Friday night fare. But we gave up pizza for a while, with our children out of the house, and during a recent visit home, our son requested some pies and grinders from SL. First, the pizza toppings tasted old, like they were on the verge of being rancid (So Lake combo) and we orderd a veggie sans pineapple, but it showed up w/ pineapple anyway. My son ordered a side of buffalo wings, which were almost cold, he threw them in the microwave. My husband did enjoy his french dip grinder very much, so we all nabbed pieces of that. For the price, overall, I would say that if the place got its "stuff" together, we would order again, but it's pretty pricey (a 12" combo was $15.95), so we'll have to think about it.
