Just finished having dinner here and look forward to my next meal at this friendly, cozy restaurant. The service was excellent and the food delicious. I had black bean chili with just the right kick, topped with cheese, red onion and sour cream. Perfect choice for a chilly evening. Granddaughter had clam chowder, very tasty and rich. Grandson had fish and chips which passed the test for him.
No complaints at all and will definitely return.
The decor is very charming, and the restaurant is very clean. The Roadhouse is very family friendly without being noisy. Good place for a relaxing meal with or without the kids.

We've dined here for several years but stopped coming a couple years ago due to really slow service. The food has always been very good but waiting for it has been disappointing. We came at 6:15 PM on a Friday night and the place was only 1/4 full. Got seated and had our drinks and salad in very short order. The cocktail was super fast but not very cold at all. That was disappointing.

Entree came quickly also. The Cioppino tasted very good but was not a true Cioppino as I don't think it was based off a classic fish stock. Tasted like the clam nectar used to steam clams, with shrimp and scallops with tomato paste. The flavor was GOOD but it lacked the fish flavor. It had a generous portion of big scallops and shrimp but could have used some cod or other white fish or even some salmon. No mussels or calamari either. A boneyard plate would have been helpful.

The burger my wife had was excellent. Homemade and well crafted.

We'll come back but will come early in the evening. The Friday night crowds really came in at about 7PM.

We visited on a very rainy night while staying at nearby Treehouse Point. The Roadhouse was highly recommended by the staff there, and we now agree with their assessment! We were looking for tasty comfort food and friendly service, and that's exactly what we got. Our server made an effort to make a personal connection, which I always appreciate, and the chef came to chat with us as well. And everything we ordered (salad, fondue, fries, beef dip) was all very tasty.

The atmosphere could probably be improved just a tad - the lights seemed very bright, creating a vibe that wasn't as relaxing as it could have been, and we found it very strange that there was no music playing the whole time we were there - the silence seemed a bit unusual.

Still, good food and good service will always trump any minor complaints, and in this case, on this evening, the Roadhouse was just what we were looking for (it didn't hurt that I'm a huge Twin Peaks fan). We'll definitely be back, and will recommend it to friends heading to the area.

...but worth the wait.

It was our waitress's second day, and she did great. The kitchen seemed short staffed, but it was a Sunday.

If not for this I would give the Roadhouse 5 stars! Our food was excellent. I ordered the meatloaf and it was superb. The 7 layer cake for after was fantastic.

We will be returning soon.

Visited today with out of town guests (2 parents and 2 pre schoolers)at Noon to a restaurant that had about 4 small parties.
The menu was good and we all liked our food, but...the service was awful! We waited for a table for 6 to be set up and they said to us as they walked by, your table is over there, I will be back with your waters in a few. We found our way to the table with only one children's menu and 1 set of crayons even though we said 4 adults and 2 kids.
Waters came 10 minutes after we had gone and asked to have some crackers, another kids menu and more crayons (so 15 minutes after we were seated. Then drink orders were taken and also the kids orders. She returned about 10 minutes later with the our cocoas and said the kids orders were placed and that she could take our orders. That was about 25 minutes after we came in to the restaurant. The kids food arrived in less than 5 minutes...still no tea for the adults. The Adults food slowly arrived from 12:50 to 1:00, the last being soup and salad. We could not imagine why soup and salad would take over 30 minutes to be served.
The waitress when she stopped by was apologetic at the end and there was a small adjustment
to the bill, but we were embarrassed that our guests and we did not enjoy the experience.
