Excellent location, nice restaurant in the lodge with very good food. Close to Olympic National Park. Perfect weather in June. Quiet without a lot of highway noise or barking dogs. Comfortable beds with nice linens.

I just spent three nights at Kalaloch Lodge with my family of four. We stayed in cabin six, a two bedroom, with a spectacular view of the beach and sunset. Upon our arrival, the front desk staff was helpful, and was helpful for the entire stay. The beach, sunsets, tide pools, were all fantastic. Our cabin had wonderfully comfortable beds, but was certainly rustic. The bathrooms do need a makeover, and the kitchen area was functional, but with peeling wood veneers, and in need of a good cleaning. Daily room cleaning was lax, but the front desk was quite responsive about that. Restaurant adequate - bring food if you can. It would be good if they added one or two public grills on the property rather than rent them at a stiff price. The nights are cool, the cabins cozy and comfortable with the wood-burning stove. They store sells a convenient 'smores pack that has everything you might need for a snack by the stove. If you don't' mind rustic, this is a wonderful getaway.

Room Tip: Ask the front desk staff for a cabin that has an unobstructed view of the sunset and beach

We had a great experience at this lodge. The cabin had a full kitchen, a fireplace with wood provided. The cabin we reserved had two bedrooms with a total of three queens. The breakfast nook had a great view of the ocean. The back yard had a picnic bench and plenty of room for our boys to run around. We took our provided wood and made a campfire on the beach (they provide paper, matches, and a fire starter block to help get it started (but find/bring extra kindling since it's pretty moist out there). The rocks in the tide area have tidal pools with wildlife, so it's a fun place to explore. The beach is very scenic and is not steep (there is a walkway down to the beach). The beach entry area has a national park brochure to help you explore the ecosystem and the wildlife. Staff was very friendly and helpful Restaurant has great views and excellent food options. This is a great place to stay while touring Olympic NP.

Room Tip: Splurge for a bluff view cabin.

We stayed here one night while we spent time hiking in Olympic National Park and found the location to be just right midway between the southern and western part of the park. The place is set right on the bluff overlooking the ocean and we had a nice view from our second story room. The beach access is right there so it was easy to spend time walking along the beach. Our room was nothing much but was perfectly adequate and very roomy. We had dinner and breakfast at the Lodge and both were very good. We especially enjoyed watching the barn swallows nesting in the eaves right next to the restaurant windows.

One of the most spectacular places I have ever been. The room was clean and comfortable and the sound of the ocean all night was soothing and peaceful. The food in the dining room was spectacular. I will go back. Put this on your bucket list!

Room Tip: Cabins overlooking ocean.

Cute little place in amazing location. Kiddos will have fun on beach but hotel itself not especially kid friendly. Not a lot of hiking beyond beach in immediate area but beaches themselves are well worth the trip. Loved wood burning stove in unit! Kitchenettes pretty handy feature too!

The motel room was very spacious, quiet and adorable. We opted for the cheapest room, but it still had a view of the ocean. We ran out of hot water after one moderate shower but it recovered pretty quickly.
