“This place is a dream”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

We had the absolute pleasure of staying here for a night. The cabins are well decorated and very comfortable. Everything from the books about the area, the L'Occitane toiletries, the huge bathtubs just made this place comfortable. The star of the show though is the grounds. It is like a fairytale come true. It was truly the most amazing place. The cabins are right in front of the Sol Duc river. We left the windows open so we could fall asleep to the rushing water. There is also a creek that meets up with the river. On the creek is the most amazing moss covered stone bridge. I think I took 50 pictures of the bridge alone. It is something that you just need to photograph.

Michelle and John were so kind. John took the time to show us the animals and he even let us feed the goats! They are the most gracious hosts and we are so blessed that we got to meet them.

My husband and I were on a trip around the Olympic Peninsula for our honeymoon and tried to pick the best places in each location to stay. This is by far the favorite of all of the places. My husband was so excited when we floated by the property on our white water rafting trip two days later.

I don't know when we will be back in Forks. I do know where we will stay when we come back though. The cabins were 15 minutes or so from Forks and it is a straight shot! Do yourself a favor and stay in this wonderland.

We can't say enough about Michelle and John and their wonderful property, The Cabins at Beaver Creek. We just got back from our third visit there and can't wait to go back. Each time we go, they always do their best to make our stay memorable. We plan our trips to the Olympic Peninsula around their availability. We refuse to stay anywhere else. We are already making plans to go back this summer.

The cabin was great, beyond any expectation we had especially after looking at other places in the area. Priced well too. They were both really sweet and accommodating. The property was beautiful and the cabin (cabin 4) was very nice. Short drive to the rainforest, beach and many other nature adventures. Will be going back!

We had a wonderful amazing time. First the property and the cabin was beyond expetations. John and Michelle are extremely gracious. They supplied us with farm fresh eggs and sausage for breakfast!!! We loved the companionship of their 2 sweet dogs.

We can wait to be their guests again!!!

This has to be one of our absolute favorite places we have ever stayed at in all of our travels! We would like to go back to the Olympic Peninsula just to stay here. We stayed here in May 2013. My husband was very skeptical to stay on someone's property that we did not know but he quickly fell in love with it. As soon as we pulled up the drive, John came out and greeted us. John and Michelle were so hospitable to us. We told them where we had been and where we planned to travel the next day and they gave us lots of tips of places we should probably skip and places that we needed to definitely see (Cape Flattery is a must see! This was not on our original itinerary but was highly recommended by John and Michelle)

The cabin was spotless!! It had all the amenities you could possibly need. After hiking all day in the rain we were chilled to the bone so we sat by the fireplace and warmed up. The bed was very comfy and the cabin was cozy. We slept with the window above our bed open so we could here the drizzling rain and the peaceful sound of the Sol Duc River. It has a large bathtub so you have plenty of room to soak after a long day of hiking. Super clean!!

The next day we hiked around the grounds and walked down to the river. Everything about it is breathtaking. This is a gem and we will definitely be coming back when we come to the West Coast again!

Not been there yet but this is what I would imagine it to be. The innkeepers treat you as if you are family and I am not sure what else one can write about these cottages that has not been written.

Very few places on TA have such a perfect 5 star rating (well 2 four star) and you better believe it deserves that. I told the owners that it was a rustic version of the Ritz or Four Seasons. The setting is rustic but not the accommodation. Clean, comfortable and just right. We were four ( 2 adults and two teens) and the boys enjoyed climbing up to the loft

S'mores around the campfire at 7.30. A stream close by. Dogs, horses, chickens on the property. And in the middle of all this luxury cottages.

If you are thinking of roughing it, sure this is a perfect place to rough it, read a book, watch a movie or take naps. -- it is a rough thing to do but one has to do it

Our sincere thanks to the hosts. We will be back.

Our thanks also to TA DE glaciermeadows who suggested this heavenly idyllic location.

Don't even have second thoughts -- just book it

This place is marvelous! Gorgeous, sublimely comfortable cabins … beautiful forest trails … the Sol Duc river rushing nearby … nightly campfires with your fellow lodgers (gourmet S’mores!) … 3 horses, 2 goats … chickens, and dogs, and a cat -- oh my! The owners/operators, John and Michelle, are two of the most friendly folks you’ll ever meet. No matter what kind of activities you plan to enjoy in the area, they’ll provide loads of helpful tips for improving your experience. Stay here -- it’s fabulous!
