We had trouble finding a room in Forks on a Saturday night but luckily we managed to score a night at the Palmer Lodge. It is located outside of town, surrounded by lovely scenery and Angie was a great host. The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, the lodge is quiet and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. We were grateful the motels in town were all full because we think Palmer Lodge was a lovely alternative.

I stayed here in early September 2011 for a trip around the Olympic Peninsula and it was great. Angie was an excellent and accommodating host, and the morning breakfast with a perfect view of a few dozen elk moving through the backyard was quite an experience. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay, this is absolutely the place.

I was invited into the family BBQ....being solo and arriving a bit late. It turned out wonderful........very accomodating to say the least.........looking forward to my next stay to see the elk lingering in the fields.......must do, walk to the river and stick your toes in the water! Very private and beautiful!! My room was very clean, comfortable and quiet.......
