We needed to get some lunch, so we went into the deli. Service was a bit slow, but friendly. Seemed a bit chaotic. Store seemed to have everything

We travel to the Olympic Northwest every July and always rent a house in Forks to use as our base camp. We've been able to find almost every basic (and sometimes unexpected) supply at Forks Outfitters, which is convenient, especially considering the small size of the town. Also, I'm a picky food shopper. Think: Trader Joe's, local farmer's markets, and Whole Foods. The Thriftway isn't a Whole Foods, but I've always located what we need there. It's a terrific place to grab stuff for supper, a bottle of wine, and even rent a movie.

Need some organic fruit? Maybe a pair of Toms? How about a fancy dog collar? You can find any of the above items and just about anything else you are looking for at Forks Outfitters-- which seems to be a combination of a grocery store, hardware store and sporting goods store.

Had lunch here while visiting Hoh Rain Forest and other areas in Olympic National. The food was fresh, well made, and tasted great. Would visit again.

The staff at the pre-made food area were very friendly and efficient. Typical grocery store. Amazed to find you could buy alcohol, not just wine and beer in a grocery store. From New England - never saw this before. Probably one of the only places to buy food along this stretch of 101.
