On Nov 7 we stayed in # 4. Immaculate. Now i am a city gyrl - love Marriott, Holiday Inn Express and Homewood Suites when we travel. The resort is sweet, quiet, calm and the misty scent of the river and dew in the air was very calming. And I am a UO Duck fan - concerned I would miss the Ducks playing against Stanford- not so- the resort has Dish network & I got to see the game (heartbreaker game and thats another story). We went to Rialto beach. BEAUTIFUL. I wrapped myself with the energy felt invigorated.

One downside and its NOT about the lovely resort. COFFEE. The resort provides a French Press bless them magnificently. Yet we did not bring any ground coffee. Hey no Starbucks coffee around here and i assume that the mythic vampires would become round the clock phlebotomists and would put a crimp in the Twilight visitors. (Have no fear though because, yes its true, this resort is in a Twilight free truce zone. ) so bring YOUR COFFEE !

So come here and enjoy. Get warm by the gas wood stove!

Room Tip: Bring ground coffee.

I stayed for one night in October. The unit we stayed in was well equipped, pristine, and cozy. The location on the river makes you feel like you are miles from anyone, yet you are about 15 minutes from Forks if you need anything. Rialto Beach is nearby and is an interesting beach to explore, though we were cut off from the Hole in the Wall because recent heavy rains had caused a river to form, blocking off part of the beach. My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that the bathroom was tiny. The heated floors, however, made it feel luxurious. Forks isn't much of a town, and unless you are a Twilight fan there is little reason to visit. However, this location is a great base for travels to other parts of Olympic National Park, and this resort is far nicer than anything you will find in the city of Forks. If you stay here, try to allow for more than one night - you will be glad you did!

This was a perfect stop on our trip up the Pacific coast on a chilly, rainy day. We made reservations the day before online for one night. We experienced a great, personal check-in from Linda upon arrival.

The resort consists of several perfectly restored and renovated units directly on the river. An excellent heating system, gas fireplace and heated bathroom floor made for a cozy evening, even with the temperatures in the upper 40s outside and a light rain.

The kitchen area is generously equipped, with coffee maker, stove, large refridferator with full size freezer, a huge selection of pots and pans, lots of dishes, a great assortment of knives, and microwave. A selection of reading books is provided as well.

And it's all perfectly clean!!! And oh so quiet, just the soft sounds of the river.

There were lots of hummingbird feeders, and the busy hummingbirds made for a natural, homey atmosphere. The landscaping is lovely, with lots of blooming flowers, all maintained and manicured.

We travel with lots of electronic gadgets, at least six, and all need charging at night ... We had no trouble finding adequate plugs to get everything recharged during the night ... A nice bonus.

The resort is only 4 miles from the Pacific, and close to the Hoh Rain Forest.

After a week traveling up the Pacific coast from California through Oregon and Washington, this was our first lodging in which we have no complaints about bad service or deficiencies in rooms. Hilton, Holiday Inn and Marriott should take note of this property and how it is so superbly run!

The Quillayute River Resort is highly recommended ... we would have stayed longer, but unfortunately (for us) they were booked.

the owners have worked hard to make this place very clean, compy beds, cozy fireplace, and lotza amenities. So open the window and listen to the river and/or walk it's gardenpath. Our family of five adults from mn. also enjoyed the big waves at sunset just a short drive down the road.A place to come back to, so if available why look any futher. A great home base for visiting olyp. nat. pk.

Room Tip: all five room are good view.

We were here in early September, stayed 2 nights and wish we could have stayed longer.
It is a beautiful setting, right on the river and after spending time in the National Park Lodgings with the crowds, it was the perfect place to unwind. We shopped in Forks before arriving so had ample supplies for breakfast and dinner where we dined with a view of the river. A bbq is provided for each unit, so we grilled salmon steaks for dinner both nights, enjoying our cocktail on the little patio right outside our unit. I noted someone complained about the bed, but we found it to be extremely comfortable. This was previously a fishing camp which has been very comfortably and nicely remodeled. Awesome Rialto Beach is 5 minutes away...where we hiked and picnicked. I can't recommend this place highly enough. A+ for sure.

We stayed here two nights We were in room 6 at the end of the building The rooms were clean and very comfortable We liked having the kitchen area stocked with anything you need. The owners are super nice. The view of the river is so beautiful and peaceful. The location is perfect to see the beaches. We watched the sunset on Rialto Beach the first night. We went back the next morning at low tide and walked to the tide pools. It was so interesting. We drove to the Hoh rainforest one day. It was a easy drive from the inn. The dining options are limited so bring your own food and just enjoy the beautiful view right outside your door. We would stay here again.

We loved our stay here. The hotel is very small, only five suites. The suites are modest, each with a kitchenette/living area and then a separate bedroom. We stayed in two of them and each had two queen beds and a pull out sofa in the living area. Very nice selection of cook wear and basic seasonings.

The setting is wonderful. Very private located right on the river. Great location for a base camp while staying on the western side of the peninsula. We stayed three days. 10-15 minutes from Rialto Beach. A couple hours to Cape Flattery. About 1-1/2 hour to visitor center in Hoh River Valley.
