On Nov 7 we stayed in # 4. Immaculate. Now i am a city gyrl - love Marriott, Holiday Inn Express and Homewood Suites when we travel. The resort is sweet, quiet, calm and the misty scent of the river and dew in the air was very calming. And I am a UO Duck fan - concerned I would miss the Ducks playing against Stanford- not so- the resort has Dish network & I got to see the game (heartbreaker game and thats another story). We went to Rialto beach. BEAUTIFUL. I wrapped myself with the energy felt invigorated.
One downside and its NOT about the lovely resort. COFFEE. The resort provides a French Press bless them magnificently. Yet we did not bring any ground coffee. Hey no Starbucks coffee around here and i assume that the mythic vampires would become round the clock phlebotomists and would put a crimp in the Twilight visitors. (Have no fear though because, yes its true, this resort is in a Twilight free truce zone. ) so bring YOUR COFFEE !
So come here and enjoy. Get warm by the gas wood stove!
