“A great bed and breakfast and wonderful hosts”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 October 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed here for two nights at the end of our three week tour of the North West this summer. The accommodation is of a high standard and although we had to share a bathroom with other guests this was really not a problem. We were made to feel very welcome and particularly enjoyed meeting the other guests at breakfast and the homely personal attention from the hosts Mary and John. Gig Harbor is delightful and we wished we could have stayed for longer to further explore the area.

We are so glad you selected The Parsonage B and B for your Puget Sound region visit. Most visitors take advantage of our great discounted group rate and book both rooms. When the rooms are individually booked, they share 1.5 baths. We are careful about cleaning the baths each day when the rooms are booked separately. You were delightful visitors from England and we so enjoyed getting to know you! Thank you for staying at The Parsonage and for your wonderful 5 star review!!

“Great location, very comfortable, delicious food and wonderful hosts!”

We stayed here (5 adult family members) between 1 & 8 September 2013 and will definitely stay here again when we next visit Seattle. John & Mary are the best hosts that you could wish for and went out of their way to accommodate our travel and touring itinerary. The gourmet breakfasts were truly delicious and a tribute to Mary's culinary skills and John's prolific garden. The rooms are beautifully furnished, as is the whole house, and the beds are very comfortable - although the cot is not as comfortable as the beds, according to our daughter! We can thoroughly recommend The Parsonage to any visitors.

We stayed here with friends for three nights before traveling to Alaska. Their beautiful re-furbished parsonage/home was a perfect base for exploring Gig Harbor, Tacoma, Mt. Ranier, Seattle. John and Mary make you feel right at home. Their homemade breakfasts were all outstanding. Example: pumpkin souffle with pecans, citrus smoothie, watermelon slices, homemade scones, bluebarb crunch made with rhubarb from their fabulous gardens surrounding the house, and every plate was garnished with teeny flowers picked from their garden, also. Beautifully set table in the dining room. Your very own cozy robe is available should you choose to relax in their hot tub. We had a king bed which was very comfortable. A small , personal refrigerator is in your room, also.
