A couple things you can expect: The rooms were boxy, with high ceilings, kind of plain. There was a small TV, and although they didn't have cable, they left DVDs to watch (but who goes here to watch TV?). The back balcony is built of unfinished wood and looks at power lines and a garbage pile of busses and trucks. But the manager lady was VERY nice. We asked for an iron to prepare our clothes for a wedding, and she ran home to grab hers. The redeeming value as far as I'm concerned was that the lodge is next door to the Chair 9 bar; delicious brick oven pizza, lots of cool people, great live music, yummy booze. So, I guess I recommend this joint for a partyier crowd, at least on the weekends. Might be loud for old people who expect an extravegant hotel room and aren't happy to embibe themselves to an oblivious night's sleep.
