My husband and I recently had a short trip to the tri-cities for business and he had booked us into the Red Lion. I did a bit of checking on Trip Advisor, and thought this sounded a lot nicer...and it was! The room was beautiful, comfortable bed, nice linens, lots of pillows, nice chair and table for the bit of work that needed doing--there is wifi access, sourround sound speakers--even in the bathroom--though I needed some help from the owner to figure out how it all worked, which he graciously helped with, even at 9:30 pm. We had our breakfast outside, in a shady spot, on white tablecloth, fresh juice, fruit, and far more food than I could ever eat. We are hoping to go back at a cooler time of year when we might make use of the in room fireplace and big soaking tub. It was over 100 degrees during our stay--but air conditioning kept our room nice and cool. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and it was truly a pleasure to have a liesurely breakfast, chat with the owner, and enjoy the flowers, the pasture beyond and the quiet of being out in the middle of farm land. If you are going to visit wineries in Sunnyside, Prosser, etc. I can't imagine why you would want to stay anywhere other than here. We were only planning to stay one night, but made a plan at breakfast to stay a second night.

You have no idea what you are missing! This place is a little piece of heaven. I could not believe that everything the website, especially the photos, described were as promised.

My husband and I stayed in the Secret Garden. It was a huge beautiful room with a great big closet: the biggest and comfiest bed I have stayed in at an inn; a flat screen TV; a minbar with COMPLIMENTARY (yes- FREE) drinks and snacks; and a lovely bathroom to boot! Our room faced a fenced in area with llamas and across the street- gorgeous vineyards to look out to.

The best part...breakfast served right to your room! Yes- right to you. Both mornings we stayed- we wanted to run into the main part of the house and ask for seconds and thirds. One of the innkeepers came to the table outside of the sliding door of our room, set down a white tablecloth and served breakfast along with juice and coffee.

Now- that being said. Cozy Rose is close to small vineyards. If you are looking to go to Hogue or some more popular vineyards, then it is about a 15-20 minute drive. BUT the innkeeper can recommend a private car to drive you for a price.

This place is fabulous. Spread the word- I am!

The innkeepers were lovely, friendly people.

Absolutely gorgeous rooms, so much so that we added an extra day just so we didn't have to leave. The rooms are perfectly decorated, calm and quiet, with huge, comfortable beds. We had breakfast delivered to us in the room, then had a great conversation with the owner, who pointed us to some nice wineries in nearby wine country. One of the best bed and breakfasts I've ever stayed in!

If you are planning travel to Eastern Washington for a bit of wine tasting, consider The Cozy Rose Inn B & B as your place to stay.

Mark & Jennifer are wonderful hosts. Mark was quick to provide suggestions for dinner as well as wine tours, even making a couple of reservations for us and then printing directions.

We stayed in Suite Surrender, everything was just as pictured and described. Our friends stayed in King Suite. They were not B&B people, but after the great experience at The Cozy Rose they are now converts.

Loved having WIFI (spouse needed to do some work, no issues using). There was a mini fridge & microwave if we desired as well as books and movies to choose from. Slippers and robes were also provided in each room.

Breakfasts were delicous and varied each day; tables were set with fresh flowers, candles and white linens. We even enjoyed dinner one evening, wonderful pork chops.

The grounds are well maintained with many areas to stop & relax in either a sunny or shady spot, read a book, listen to the birds or just enjoy the flowers...or pet Daisy the cat.

We have stayed in many B&Bs over the course of time & this is one at the top of the list. We are planning a return trip soon.

What a great place! From the outside, it looks like a quaint farmhouse, but man, the rooms are amazing! We seriously didn't want to leave the room (and I don't think the couple honeymooning there ever did). The decor was beautiful and elegant without being uptight, the room was amazingly comfortable, and they keep it so clean that everything felt brand new. The breakfast (delivered to our room) was wonderful, too.

I would definitely recommend this place for anyone planning a romantic getaway or who just wants some pampering for a few days.

The Cozy Rose Inn

For our tour of the Yakima Valley wine country we chose a B&B instead of a big chain or resort for a change. What a difference. What a pleasure.

The Cozy Rose Inn is real treasure. It's conveniently located and the owner/operators, Mark & Jenny, couldn't have been more welcoming or accommodating. They love what they do and it shows. This is a place of high quality, personal service and comfort at a reasonable price.

The rooms were spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. A fabulous breakfast was brought to our room every morning. After a day of wine tasting and friendly conversation, we'd return to smiling faces, peaceful gardens and a jacuzzi tub. Without a doubt they had THE most comfortable bed I've ever slept in!

Mark knows wine and will direct you only to the best vintners for the particular type of wines you prefer. No hit and miss wandering. No tours, no sales pitch, just sincere sharing of the place they love. His guidance ensures you make the most of your trip every day. Jenny's big smile and genuine charm makes you feel welcome and relaxed from the minute you arrive.

If you're headed to the Wahington wine country go B&B, the Cozy Rose Inn. You'll never want to leave. You'd have to be a fool to stay at a big chain resort when you could be spoiled at the Cozy Rose Inn.

PS: Book your trip in advance. They have a loyal following for obvious reasons.
