The portions are enormous! Good food, the servers are usually very attentive (frequent coffee refills - big plus) and reasonable prices. Nothing fancy by any means - if you're looking for ambiance this is not the place for you. If you just want a tasty (and greasy) breakfast, this is a great option. Just be prepared for a LONG wait if you come for breakfast/brunch on weekends.

We used to go at least once a week unti we moved away to Oregon but.... We always go there when visiting Kirkland and Seattle. You definitely will not go away hungry.

Being so popular, there are often lineups espcially on Sunday but always worth the wait.
Almost always take home a "doggy" bag. FANTASTIC

For big guys with big appetites this restaurant will hit the mark. Every portion is super sized (and much is left on the table to be thrown away). A suggestion - cut back on the portions, improve the quality slightly and rework the interior decor which is old school and very tired looking. Often when we go we share an order, which is still more than enough food, unless you're King Kong!

Whether you get the biscuits and gravy, the pumpkin pancakes, or the aloha burger, you are in for a treat. We have been going to this place for years and the food is consistently great. Count on it. Also, count on either sharing or bringing home a box of leftovers, because they don't sacrifice quantity for quality, or quality for quantity. Atmosphere? Think country restaurant with antiques. It's a comfortable place to go with the family, or to meet a friend for lunch. Don't be surprised if you see a familiar face or two.

We went there for a brunch on Sunday early afternoon. Even though it was pissing rain outside, the place was fully packed. We had to wait for over 20 min to get seated. And it took another 15 min for the food to be served. However, after so much waiting, the food was pleasant. First of all, ti came in with a huge portion---most people left the restaurant with a take out box. In addition, it was also delicious. Having said that, I am not sure if it is worth that long waiting time. I guess weekdays may be less crowded.
