What a delightful place for an early dinner in La Conner after tripping through the tulip fields! Freshest ingredients, beautiful presentation, an enthusiastic & knowledgeable server, and excellent food (together with good friends) made this one of the best evenings of my trip to Skagit Valley. By all means, save room for dessert!! Kudos to the owner for another masterful eatery in Skagit Valley.

“Great Restaurant and Bar”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2014

Because Seeds is the first restaurant coming into town and near several B&B's, it is sometimes crowded, especially if another event is happening. It is a delight. The food and service is fabulous. I have been eating there for many years and it is consistently first rate. Wonderful comfort food when the weather is inclement.

“A wonderful little place with delish food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014

We stopped in for a late lunch after spending the earlier part of the day in the tulip fields during the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. The service was friendly and the food... unique... but not 'weird'... We had a couple glasses of wine, relaxed and enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend dropping in here. This place is located a short distance from all the busyness of the shops in town. Parking is in the back... Try it... you will like it!

“more than just seeds”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 April 2014

the salmon was delicious and the trimmings more than just that. but the main attraction was sophia our server. according to her, or at least me, she does resemble sophia loren, and was a hoot to boot. of all the food places in laconner, seeds was top in our book.

“Wonderful, wonderful meal.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2014

Okay, so I'm not ashamed to admit that between the three of us we probably ordered just about one of everything.

Started with the mac n' cheese balls AND the crispy brussel sprouts. You have to try the mac n cheese everywhere, just to keep up with local trends. Even though it was called Cougar Gold, I tried it anyway. The marinara on the bottom of the plate to complete the Coug colors could have been skipped, but they were delicious. The brussel sprouts were AMAZING. Everything is locally sourced from the abundance in the Skagit Valley, fresh and lick your plate delicious.

My husband enjoyed the meatloaf, and of course, I got a taste. He missed out on my beet and goat cheese salad since he won't eat beets. The main course was just filler waiting for dessert anyway.

Homemade pies, cakes and cookies. The chocolate lava cake was not gooey enough but still delicious. The cherry pie was flat out awesome.

We decided to have our order of tulip bulbs from the Tulip Festival held for pick up so we have an excuse to come back in October! Can't wait to see what the bounty of the valley holds for us then.
