“A Retreat to Remember”
Reviewed 1 May 2014

We love the Inn at Langley and are repeat visitors.
The Inn has a wonderful Zen like look and feel to it. The rooms (all with a private terrace) have a perfect 180 view of tranquil Puget Sound with the sounds and sights of herons and seagulls and an occasional whate.
The Inn is ensconced in a picturesque and quaint little town on a beautiful and seemingly private beach to wander and explore. You can relax on your terrace and read or just enjoy the scenery soaking in the natural beauty and quiet. There is a great Spa on-site that I've visited on two occasions and the treatments reflect the same serenity as the Inn.
Breakfast is included and quite a treat. You'll find a generous vareity of freshly baked goods, egg dishes, delicious bread, cheeses, yogurt, juices, and coffee from the local island roaster; all served in an inviitingly elegant and comfortable dining area.
The Inn offers an optional extravagant multi-course dinner on the weekends (by reservation only) which is definitely an occasion featuring multiple regional creative small plates paired with wine from local producersl.
The Inn at Langely is an experience you'll thoroughly enjoy. Make sure you visit the town's shops and eateries too, all within walking distance.

The Inn is situated on a quiet and scenic coastline, with a pebbled beach out front. The rooms are large, with comfortable beds, lots of pillows, and a deck to sit and watch the waves lap ashore. The fun bit is the bathtub, which has an unobstructed, private water view! The staff could not be more helpful or pleasant. This is a true gem.

We stayed here for one night for our babymoon on a whim. We loved every minute of it. The view was spectacular. The jacuzzi tub was a hoot (with a view ofcourse). The room had a real wood burning fireplace, a fridge. Everything was perfect! And then we had what felt like a 1000-course meal prepared by chef Costello and it was divine! And we're vegetarians, which severely limiting his options! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and can't wait to come back here again!

We stayed in one of the cottages. Luckily they let our 8 y.o. stay here but in was on a Thursday night. It's nice to be able to walk around town. We enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks. The breakfast was great and we happened to meet the owners.

My wife and I stayed at the Inn at Langley November 8th, 2013. We left Seattle early and were driving to Vancouver. When we were leaving the Sheraton Seattle (also very nice), the concierge recommended an excursion to the Langley area. We started looking on Tripadvisor for places to stay. As we were on our way up I called and inquired about rooms and rates. They were very accommodating to our every request. They asked if we would be in time to join them for dinner. We were cutting it close and decided not to. I hear that is a BIG mistake. If we make it back we would definitely join them for the epicurean event! The property was BEAUTIFUL in every way. Well manicured and clean all around. The staff was very helpful upon check-in. I think we were in room 304. Whenever I get a queen sized bed I am worried. That was the only sacrifice that was made. The room had a fireplace and refrigerator and microwave. The snacks were mostly complementary. Thank You! The bathroom had heated floors, an awesome soaking tub with a spectacular view of the bay. The shower also overlooked the bay, it was just awesome. One of the most romantic places that I have every been! The breakfast the next morning was awesome. It is definitely a limited menu but all was very fresh. The owners came in shortly after us and engaged us in conversation. Such nice people!
We explored around the property and it was so beautiful. There is something about the Sierra Nevada Mountain range in the background over looked the Pacific coastline! Truly magical!!
I hope that we get back there again. I would go back tomorrow. You can't focus too much on the property as it is worth it!

Room Tip: Every room is awesome and on the Puget Sound!!

We recently stayed at the Inn at Langley for a little getaway. We were very fortunate in the off season to have been upgraded to the Sarratoga Suite. It was fantastic! Gorgeous views, full kitchen, lovely furnishings, a comfy bed and terrific bath. The staff was gracious and helpful and the continental breakfast was very good. Will definitely be back again.

I cannot speak highly enough about the wonderful rooms at the Inn. The rooms are spacious with the most wonderful double doors opening onto the deck, overlooking the Puget Sound, mere feet away from the waves lapping the beach. Attention to detail is given to everything. A wonderful boardwalk stretches the length of the property complete with fire pits and benches to soak in the views. In the rooms one is welcomed by a fireplace. I prefer to bath and what a bonus to have a jetted tub to soak in, complete with a view of the ocean. Hubby was thrilled with the walk-in shower stall. I was also thrilled with the removable shower head that I could disconnect to quickly wash my hair while standing in the shower stall. Probably the most surprising was that the room is stocked with countless FREE treats, bottled water, tea, coffee, Luna snack bar, Reese's snack bar, 2 types of chips as well as gourmet crackers. What a refreshing, novel idea to supply some free snacks when folks are paying top dollar for a room! We can't wait to return in the summer to totally soak in the sights of the Langley area.
