This is a nice hotel, but for the price it is nothing special. It is right on the main street and walking to shopping is just a few blocks. There is a lot of traffic on the road, but we didn't really hear it in the room. Breakfast was included with the stay. The prices in this town seem to run high everywhere. The room and the bathroom were definitely on the small side for the price.
Overall we had a great stay. The staff was friendly and we had no trouble with our room or reservation.
Check in and out were quick and hassle free, rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel is close to the shopping ( most are its a small town). Loved that the pool was open later-midnight. It was 39 degrees centigrade while we were there and the ac had no trouble keeping up. There is an outside patio that was clean and comfortable and the free breakfast was as good as we had on this trip.
We stayed in one of their Jacuzzi/fireplace suites and were underwhelmed. The room was dated, the shower/tub had mold in the door frame, and the road noise from the adjacent highway was pronounced. On the plus side the fireplace added a nice bit of atmosphere and a warm soak in the Jacuzzi was relaxing. Another plus was that the room came equipped with a fridge and microwave. Didn't use them but appreciated that they were available. The complimentary breakfast was not bad compared to most similar offerings at other hotels...not great but not bad. All in all nothing special for the price and not a place that I would likely stay again.
Nice hotel, a bit pricey but got a suite with a hot tub in it. Breakfast was lacking. No oil to spray the waffle makers and the ladies (don't understand/speak english) making the food had a tip jar out. Really? It's your job to make sure the food is out there for breakfast. Tipping is so over rated! My boyfriend forgot a shirt hanging in our room and I had to wait 24 hrs to talk to the head housekeeper to look for the shirt. Front desk associates told me if anything is found it would be in some lost and found area and it wasn't there after I asked them to check. Head of housekeeping called me the following day and said yes she found it and would mail it down the street if I supplied a credit card. The place mailing it was supposed to call me with a price and never did. Then they mailed it UPS ground (for a shirt? really?) and charged me $14 and it took over a week to get it in the mail! Not impressed with the customer service, housekeepers don't let management know when they find personal belongings.
This is a good spot to hang your hat for the night, rooms were clean although our shower could have used a little updating and caulking replaced with a good scrubbing around the joints. Reasonable rates made it a good choice. Not a far walk from the centre of town.
