“Great stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 May 2012

Although not a 5-star facility, this hotel has all the charm one could want in Leavenworth. Great location, friendly staff (complete with Bavarian uniforms), a good and entertaining breakfast (who doesn't like horns echoing over the valley), and a 18-hole putting golf course across the street. We enjoyed the stay.

For a special celebration, we stayed at the Enzian, and enjoyed it very much, as always.
Just entering the lobby you feel transported to a very special place - the decor is amazing! The rooms have beautiful furniture, all imported from Austria and handmade. A nice balcony offers a great respite, the flowers are a homey touch. The huge armoir contains a TV (which we never used) and a fridge - so tastefully disguised. The bed is fabulous - love the duvet-, and so is the bathroom. We enjoyed watching the stars from the huge deck off the upper lobby. The indoor pool is wonderful - so is the hot tub - a gorgeous mural kept my attention for a long time.
The outdoor pool and hot tub look very inviting on a warm day.
The breakfast is fabulous - especially the Alphorn serenade - nowhere else can you enjoy all this.

Room Tip: Perhaps you want to choose a room away from the street. We like the upper floor.

My family and I visited Leavenworth during the Memorial Day weekend as a little getaway, and stayed at Enzian Inn. Our stay was very pleasant, and would love to visit again!

The inn follows the German-inspired theme much like the rest of Leavenworth, and it provides a very unique charm. I spent most of my time downstairs, where most hotel amenities, such as the indoor pool, basketball court, and the mini gym, were located. The amenities were sufficient for an inn this size- I expected nothing less.

The rooms are clean and very detail-oriented; each furniture is European-inspired and the TV storage unit had the words Enzian Inn carved in. However, the rooms are very plain; I would say the rooms are overpriced, but since it's a hotel in a central area of a touristy area, that might explain the price.

There is also the famous breakfast everyone is talking about, and it's definitely something that separates this inn from the others in Leavenworth. My favorite is definitely the omelets- made to my liking, and it reminded me of eating omelets for breakfast at college dorms several years ago. The blowing of the horn is also a nice touch.

The only section of the inn I didn't particularly care for was the general lobby area- it's a bit small and crowded- but overall, it was a very pleasant experience. I would definitely visit again.

We were en route to Idaho from the west coast, and broke up the trip with a night at the Enzian Inn in Leavenworth . And what a great start to our trip. We were pleased with everything--the room and environs were impeccable, the bed great, the breakfast decent . Clearly a lot of thought has gone into making this a pleasant experience for guests. The alpenhorn was, heh, heh, a real hoot. The best part, however, were all the things to do at the the inn itself. We were there in May, and while some people were using the outdoor pool, most were at the good-sized indoor pool. What we really loved was the putting course, which we played twice, and time permitting would have gone again. Good little fitness room, but too hot to play ping pong next to the jacuzzi!

What a charming inn! It felt like I was transported back to Bavaria! The rooms were spacious and nicely appointed with great bathrooms! The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The breakfast room is just like the ones in Germany with the most amazing breakfast I've ever seen included in your room rate! And the Alpenhorn concert was wonderful! Great pool and spa too in a perfect setting. We also took a van tour of several local wineries through Le Tours. (the van is much less expensive than the limo!) It was $30 per person and included the tasting fee at 2 out of the 3 wineries. (plus tip) Our driver Dane was just a hoot, so request him if you can. It was a great way to see the outer lying wineries without fear of the State Patrol!

My stay at the Enzian Inn was wonderful. I was within walking distance of Leavenworth. The room was very nice, having a balcony was nice to sit on and read a book. The staff was friendly and efficient. The Bavarian theme was unique, not your typical hotel room.

The Enzian is truly a hidden gem. It is a hotel in the Bavarian-themed Leavenworth, WA that feels more like a Bed and Breakfast than a hotel. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave you are treated like family.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beds have a fitted sheet and duvet – not your traditional hotel style, but very comfortable. There are three levels with elevators. On the third level are suites that open to a VIP deck.

Indoor and outdoor heated pools and hot tubs. There is an exercise room and racquetball court indoors, and in the winter months there is complimentary cross-country ski equipment for hotel guests. Across the street is an 18-hole putting green.

One of the best parts of the stay is the European continental breakfast – plenty of food, pastries, great cinnamon rolls and the made-to-order omelet station – all complimentary – is a great way to start your day. Each morning the owner steps up on the balcony railing to blow the Alpenhorn.

All throughout the hotel is great European quality craftsmanship down to the detail. This place is great for any occasion – romantic getaway, family outing, or just staying to visit Leavenworth. This is the first choice for me when staying in Leavenworth.
