We stayed in the Aspen Suite during our trip. The bed was extremely comfortable and the suite was large enough to hang out in, watch TV and browse the internet. The ensuite bathroom was lovely with a huge Jacuzzi tub and two shower heads. We did spend an afternoon lounging in the living room which was open and very relaxing. There were plenty of board games and books available. They provided an open, friendly experience that made us feel like we were staying with family who had friends staying at the same time (the other guests). The kitchen is open to the dining and living area, and our hosts created a comfortable atmosphere. I've stayed at a bed and breakfast before, but we didn't see the hosts except when they served breakfast. Nothing wrong with that, it was a great stay. But at Granite Hills, Bill and Paula have made it a point to include us into their home and family. They were in the kitchen cooking breakfast where we could chat with them and the other guests and we also socialized with them at various times throughout the day. The food was delicious and they easily accommodated any dietary restrictions of the guests. They served an absolutely wonderful Dutch Baby one morning that was made with their homegrown strawberries. Bill and Paula gave great recommendations about where to eat, shop, etc. I would wholeheartedly recommend Granite Hills for your stay. We will definitely stay here if we return to Leavenworth!

Room Tip: The Aspen Suite is on the main floor off the living room and has two huge windows

Rooms are lovely with wonderful bed and linens. We stayed in the Willow room and loved it, so comfortable. There is a huge jacuzzi tub, at least six feet long. Room has a view of well kept expansive front lawn and flowers and hills beyond. There are great sitting areas inside the home and outside on a large patio with comfortable chairs. We enjoyed the patio both afternoons watching hummingbirds and looking at the lovely flowers. A buck came one morning and there were eagles flying up in the hills behind the house. Location is near the fish hatchery. Great walks near the B&B. Bill and Paula are wonderful hosts with years of experience in spa and bed and breakfast businesses. They have thought of everything important for a great Bed and Breakfast. They have great mid week rates especially for two or more nights. We would highly recommend this B&B to our friends and we will be back.

Room Tip: All rooms have same amenities. Downstairs room has queen bed. Upstairs rooms have king size beds. We...

We stayed here on the first part of a longer vacation, boy did we get spoiled by this place! Bill and Paula were very inviting and friendly, and offered up some suggestions on places to check out and eat in town. It was very nice to be outside of Leavenworth yet close enough to head into town on a short notice. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the double shower head, jacuzzi tub and spa products to use during your stay were fantastic! Great views of the mountains and countryside, places to enjoy hanging out and relaxing both inside and out. The breakfasts were phenomenal, best meals we had on the trip!

My husband and I highly recommend this B&B! Very clean, cozy rooms, and a delicious hot breakfast. Breakfasts are so filling that we only needed light lunches each day in town which really helped our budget. There is a comfortable sitting area inside and a patio outside to watch birds or read a book. Located just outside the city is a great way to escape the tourism in the evenings. So glad that we stayed here!

We really enjoyed our brief stay at this B&B. Bill and Paula were wonderful hosts, and have really thought of all the little touches that make you feel pampered, like room fireplace, jacuzzi tub, spa-quality personal care products, luxurious linens, and spotless rooms. The Inn amenities are well-designed to take advantage of natural light and surrounding mountain and pasture views. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We really appreciate the option to stay a single night for additional fee -- a convenience not often available with other B&Bs.
We love Icicle Road so appreciate the close proximity to the river, mountainviews and nearby fish hatchery with trails.
We will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

This was our 1st Time at a B&B. Our expectations were exceeded by a warm invitation by the Saunders family. Bill and Paula have a heart for hospitality that is genuine and refreshing. Coupled with a retreat clean enough for the white glove treatment, our accommodations lacked for nothing. The breakfast was amazing, and the bed was ultra-comfy. The spa tub in the room was just one great feature among others that detail their personal touch. Thanks again for helping us create a wonderful memory for our anniversary.
