Hands down the best Sauerbraten in town. We decided to dine at Cafe Mozart for Friday night dinner, it was excellent! The service could have been a little warmer, but the food was worth the wait.

We stopped in for dinner a bit early, and thank goodness we did, as we got the last open table before all were held for reservations. The food and service were both excellent! We had the salad sampler, escargot, and the jeager schnitzel. All are a must try item!

“Great Schnitzel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 December 2013

Visited Cafe Mozart during the Christmas lights festival and had some very good German Food. The Schnitzel was a classic and the house syrah was good value. We were fortunate to not have to wait too long for a table as the line ups during the festival were really long. Restaurant doesn't take reservation for parties of <10. Cafe has an excellent view of the festival lights and rotunda where the choirs perform.

Weekend in Leavenworth. Had a delicious dinner at Cafe Mozart which was recommended by our host at AlpenRose Inn. She was spot on. Dinner was very good. Make sure you order the salad sampler....which was fabulous. Lovely decor, waitstaff friendly and timely with everything.First experience with German food was perfect. Highly recommend if you're in the area.
