“Pastry to die for!!!!!”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

SO glad we stopped in for some bakery here in Leavenworth. WOW. Delish! Fabulous! Yummy! Naughty! Scrumptious! What else can I say? We loved our first bites of this bavarian bakery so much (I had something called waffle something?) that we had seconds. Couldn't help ourselves!!! GO!

“Best Florentine's”
Reviewed 24 April 2014

We had a danish bakery in the town we live in that made these same florentine's. I was so sad when it closed now I have to drive 4 hours to have another.

“Nothing Stale about the DayOld Bread”
Reviewed 8 February 2014

Nice, little bakery but we really liked the inexpensive dayold cinnamon bread that we'll make into French Toast. How international we are here in Leavenworth...German themes with French Toast from day-old bread on the cheap!

“Cannoli and Coffee”
Reviewed 1 January 2014

The bakery is small, but somehow fits many people at a time, standing in line, perusing the cases, ordering and sitting at a small number of tables while people-watching out the door and window toward Front Ave. The pastries are perfect.. anything is just as it would be in a Frankfurt or Munich bakery along with Bavarian Cream specialties like Napoleons, Cream Horns or eclair-type puff pastry filled with Cream and topped with chocolate. They also offer brewed coffee, iced Italian Sodas and espresso drinks. Very simple and straight forward, the fare offered speaks for itself.

“Not authentic Danish pastries”
Reviewed 25 December 2013

I am Danish and was very disappointed to purchase pastries that had very little resemblance to the authentic ones I grew up with.
