This place is so nice. Lovely decks with views of the rushing river below. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Nice breakfast (as far as motel breakfasts go). It's only a maximum walk into downtown. Nicer than staying right in the midst of it all because you are in nature, but easily reachable to walk to downtown. Extremely clean. We will only stay at this place from now on.

My wife and i traveled to Leavenworth for a week in December. We originally were only able to book a room in town at the howard Johnson for $200/night through one of the hotel booking sites. The town fills up fast during the december weekends due to the Christmas festivities. However, we ended up finding a room at the Alpine Rivers Inn directly at their website. This was a nice surprise since they were less expensive than the HoJo. We managed to book a double queen for $100/night during the weekdays and $150/night during the weekend.

positives
- the location is great. it is right in front of the river and all rooms have a view of the river. it is really about a 5-10min walk into town but it's a little bit out of the centre of the town and feels more isolated and quiet.
- the staff were really friendly and helpful. they greeted us with a smile every morning as we came in for breakfast and they were more than willing to offer restaurant and sightseeing suggestions.
- The rooms seemed older in their decor and styling but the rooms were very clean and well kept.
- the entire facility is non-smoking
- the bed was comfortable. they provide down blankets and pillows which was a nice touch.
- the included breakfast was more than sufficient. Coffee, tea, sausage, ham, waffles, hard-boiled eggs, pastries, juice, cereal, yogurt, fruit.
- the wireless internet worked well in our rooms
- the outdoor hot tub was very enjoyable in the cold air.
- there is sufficient parking in the parking lot and we didn't have problems even when the inn was full during the weekend.

negatives
- not sure if this is really a negative or not. there was a sign in the bathroom that instructed us concerning our towels - that if we didn't need them changed we should leave them hung up. We did this but ended up getting clean towels anyway - which I guess we're not going to complain.
- even though the entire facility is supposed to be non-smoking (including the balconies), we saw people smoking on their balconies. this is really no fault of the hotel but perhaps they need to figure out a way to enforce this better.
- the heating/air-con unit in the room had a really loud fan. to maintain the temperature the fan would blast on every 20-30 secs. we had to sleep on the bed away from the unit to avoid the fan and the blown air. it didn't have any setting for the strength of the fan itself. it was either on with the heating or completely off with the entire unit. in the end, we would heat up our room during the day while we were out and shut off the unit when we slept.

Conclusion
- we would definitely consider staying there again the next time we visit Leavenworth
- we particularly like the location, the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms

Room Tip: - two floors. bottom floor rooms open up into the parking lot. if you don't like this, try ask...

The only thing that I can complain about is, the card I used to reserved the room wasn't accepted by their system, but they worked it out.

The view, and the closeness to downtown Leavenwoth was well worth the price. Walking into the room,we were greeted by a cozy warm room and was nice and clean. The view from the private balcony was spectacular, we enjoy sitting on the balcony and just watching the river, even in the 20 degree weather. I know that there were others staying here at the same time, but I could not even tell. The rooms are well insulated from sound and to hold the heat in, ran the heater for about an hour and a half during the time spent in the room. That's a good thing, didn't have to listen to the heater run the whole night or turn the tv up just to hear it.

I will not only come back again, but I will recommend friends and family stay here, when visiting Leavenworth. If your reading this to figure out where to stay, you should really stay here.

We showed up on Thanksgiving evening and didn't have high expectations as we pulled into the parking lot of what looked like just another box motel. We were pleasantly surprised! The receptionist was friendly and helpful about where to eat and what to look at in the area. She showed us to our dog-friendly room and pulled a microwave from a vacant room for us so we could heat up our feast we'd brought for dinner. The balcony over the Wenatchee river was very relaxing and the room was comfortable, well-furnished and clean. It showed its age in a few minor places, but it's been well-kept up and like I said, very clean. Breakfast was hearty and delicious the next morning in the dining room -- ham, potatoes, waffles, etc. We really enjoyed finding this gem and will definitely stay there again!

Carol went the extra mile to make sure our stay was just right. We were there in the off season so the costs were lower. Everything from the rooms, a full breakfast, to the service was awesome. We had two rooms the King w/the sofa bed and the family room. The view of the river at your back door and the snow covered mountains were breath taking! There are no complaints here. Thank you, Alpine Inn for helping make our vacation time @ Leavenworth perfect!

It is a quiet setting off the main road with beautiful views of the river adding to the peacefulness. From the moment we arrived until we left we were impressed by the friendliness of the staff and their dedication to service. They went out of the way to make sure that our every need was met. A very nice "hot" breakfast was included as part of the room. We went to the Enzian Inn, their sister establishment, for a free round on their putting golf course.

Room Tip: Rooms on the ground floor have a high step through the doorway, but you can park within a few feet o...

We stayed here during Oktoberfest. It's about 1/2 mile from all the shenanigans so it was quiet (which was nice). All the rooms have lanais that look out over the river. Very clean and a great free breakfast in the morning! There were muffins, coffee cakes, waffles, cereal, potatoes, ham, cinnamon rolls, etc.
