We booked last minute for a few days between Christmas and New Year's and this was one of the few places with a vacancy. On the plus side the hotel is in a great location in town, looks charming from the outside and has a friendly staff. The rooms are clean but plain. The view of the mountains from our room (305) was good but you had to have the curtains facing the walkway open to see them which meant anyone walking by could look right into the room.
The beds were just okay. The thing that really ruined it for us was the noise. We had a third floor room and you could hear a few things in other rooms but it was the outside noise that really got to us. The insulation and walls are probably thin to begin with but there was a gap underneath our door where you could feel a strong cold breeze. The room was warm enough but I'm guessing that's where some of the noise came through. Something as small as a car door shutting could easily be heard on the third floor. We've stayed in better places for about the same or slightly more so I doubt we'll be back.More
