where is the telephone to call the office, also where is the book stating your check out time etc? Nothing listing what the town has to offer! We stayed in the townhouses and surprised they weren't to America with disabilities act strandards. Still loved our stay.

Dear Veldon:

Thank you for your generous review.

In answer to your questions, the townhomes are a part of the Obertal Inn and we have ADA approved rooms at the Obertal Inn. You are correct, there are no phones in the townhomes. When deciding if we should add phones, we realized that everyone has a mobile phone these days and that there truly was no need to add a phone.

Lastly, we apologize for not having an information booklet in the townhome. We thought it would be more personal if we handled that with every guest individually. When you check into the townhome, we walk you through all the various items you should know, like check out time, internet password, house rules, etc. We also have a large rack full of informational brochures by the front desk, which is open from 8:00AM till 9:00PM. We are truly sorry if this was an inconvenience to you.

We are really glad, however, that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to seeing you back soon.

Sincerely,

Hans & Team

There's a lot to love about this place. We were traveling with our infant + another couple and this proved to be the perfect setup (nearly baby-proof too). The location is fantastic. Smack dab in the middle of town. Loved the balcony for people watching and we even had our own private concert from the wine bistro below that was playing live music. Just a short walk to anyway you want to go (I recommend checking out Waterfront Park, Hinterhof, and Icicle Brewery). We also did a river float which was super fun and relaxed.

There are only two foreseeable issues: 1) No elevator so if you'll have to lug your luggage up the flight of stairs (not the easiest for senior citizens). 2)The PDF floor-plan online shows a washer and dryer unit. When we arrived we discovered two locked rooms in the townhouse, one of which we assumed was probably the W/D unit. When we called down to the front desk the attendant informed us that the townhouses didn't have a W/D, but they could do our laundry for $7/load. That was disappointing since we had already been traveling for several days at that point and were expecting to be able to do several loads of laundry (anyone with a baby understands that).

Also, the unit only comes with one parking spot, but Hans was kind enough to let our other vehicle park in the Inn's parking lot free of charge.

Overall we had a fantastic stay and would like to come back sometime in the future. We never took advantage of the breakfast at the Inn next door but heard wonderful things from passersby.

Thank you for your very nice review.

Please accept our apologies for the Washer/Dryer being shown on the pdf the floor plan. We realized that we never removed those from the plan provide by the builder. We sincerely apologize for this oversight.

We decided not to have washer/dryers in each unit because 99% of guests stay either one or two nights and felt there probably was no need for it. For the occasional guest that needs laundry service, we do provide it at the hotel, albeit at a small charge. We are so sorry for that inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Hans & Team

This was a great little Inn. The room was clean & comfy. The location was great, close to all the shops as well as the waterfront for tubing. The included breakfast was amazing, I loved the waffles with fresh strawberries and nutella. The staff was very friendly. We would definately stay here again!

Thank you very much for your wonderful words.

We are so glad you enjoyed our breakfast. We regularly add items. Our newest addition is a Granola with a variety of seeds, nuts and dried fruits in it. We do not use any oil in our granola and only use honey, brown sugar (1 cup for 7 lbs) and Maple Syrup to sweeten it slightly.

We look forward to seeing you back soon.

Sincerely,

Hans & Team

Just stayed for two days at the Obertal Inn. The breakfast is really tasty, but the area you sit in is very tiny. No meat is available, but boiled eggs, toast, all kinds of fruit, make your own waffles were a hit with my teen.We had a great time the location makes it so easy to go to all the shops and restaurant and is only a couple of blocks from the river. The town was really smoky because of the forest fires in the vicinity right now. Definitely worth a visit, and if you have time try the tubing on the river, so much fun.

Dear Alanna:

Thank you very much for your kind review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and, having a "teen" daughter myself, I know the waffle station at breakfast is HUGE!

We have had a crazy fire season this summer. The good news - last week we had some pretty massive storms and it really cleared out all the smoke and nastiness. It has been absolutely gorgeous since and we are keeping our fingers crossed that the worst has passed.

We look forward to seeing you and your family again soon.

Sincerely,

Hans & Team

Our jacuzzi room was nicely finished - large two-headed shower and the jacuzzi seemed brand new. A small mix-up with the room not being ready when we arrived resulted in a complimentary bottle of wine for us. Hans was very friendly and helpful, and obviously loves the town.

Thank you so much for your nice review.

I appreciate you forgiving me my inattentiveness in checking you into a room that wasn't quite cleaned yet. It doesn't happen very often, but once in a while we (I) do mess up. I hope you enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine.

We are glad you enjoyed the newly renovated Deluxe Jacuzzi King room. We completely gutted two rooms to the studs and rebuilt them with all the latest amenities, like a fantastic Jacuzzi tub with chromatherapy built in and inline heater, so you never have to top it off with new hot water - it keeps it nice and hot automatically.

We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Sincerely,

Hans & Team

Everyone likes to see their name mentioned in online reviews. Thank goodness I have the best employees, EVER!. Pam, Kim and Liz man the front desk and Lucia and her team manage the housekeeping department. All our employees are committed to make your stay the best and we will do everything we can to make your stay fabulous.

Of course we occasionally mess up as well - what you will not find here, though, is excuses. when we mess up, we do everything we can to make it right so you do not have to stress out about it. We so appreciate the recognition we have been receiving this year for all our efforts.

Thank you!

Sincerely,

We would stay again because it's so close to all the shops and restaurants. Loved all the fresh fruit for breakfast but the coffee needs improvement. The waffles were great. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Dear Karen:

Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to write this review.

During breakfast, we serve a super premium coffee and we had not heard any negative feedback on the coffee before. We think you may be talking about the in-room coffee, which we agree is not great and we have been working with suppliers to select a better quality. We have hesitated to that because we serve coffee all day in the breakfast room, at no cost.

We always try to improve the quality of what we offer, though and will step up the search for better coffee.

Sincerely,

Hans & Team
