Great place to stay with kids! The close proximity to the beautiful beach is awesome, lots of trails for biking and walking through the sand dunes. We happened to arrive in Long Beach during the Kite Festival and will cherish the sight and sounds of hundreds of colourful kites in the sky for a long time! The Adrift hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful and we will definitely consider staying again at this funky place on our next trip to Washington State!

Excellent restaurant on the 4th floor. Great seafood and gourmet desserts. Lodging is also very comfortable and quiet. Live music varies at the Pickle Fish. Check for schedule and what floor you might want to be in.

The atmosphere, the staff, and the restaurant are excellent! The quality of service is evident by the smiles of many other guests I encountered. The Pickled Fish restaurant on the top floor serves the best food in town, seriously. It is undoubtedly my favorite hotel thus far.

They have really comfortable memory foam beds, we slept like babies! The beach cruisers are super-fun, and a great paved trail to go up and down the coast. The pickled fish restaurant is tastey NW style food: the steamer clams are perfect, the fish special was creative and flavorful and the drinks are refreshing and relaxing.
The Adrift does small beach-front hotel like it should be: the perfect mix of sophisticated, relaxed, and hip!

Room Tip: It is still a hotel and some noise may come through. There are lots of kids and dogs (on the ground...

We had two kids along. We were in a room with bunk beds (kid friendly room) and it was right below the lounge. They had live music one night and we felt like we were IN the lounge it was so loud in our room!

The staff was friendly, helpful and very professional, they go the extra distance 100% of the time. The amenities were fabulous, the location was perfect, very comfy beds and my room was quiet 100% of my stay.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 3rd floor are nice and quiet

My husband and I were visiting Long Beach for a wedding and booked Adrift because they were dog friendly. We didn't end up bringing our dog, and they promptly removed the extra fee from our reservation. The hotel has an industrial refurbished theme, which was appealing, however it is clear to see that this hotel is an old motel that has simply had walls painted, new floors installed and some new fixtures. There were a few negatives to our stay, however I should preface it by saying that we never complained to the front desk, so they weren't given an opportunity to better our stay. We stayed in the west building, which I do think is preferable over the east building. The bed was very uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure it was a futon mattress. There is no air conditioning, and the circulation is very poor. Our room was much warmer than the cooler outside temperatures. The water temperature in our shower was not consistent. For 30 seconds it would be the perfect temperature, and then all of a sudden become extremely hot or very cold. The wifi access? Horrible. The only time we could get a page to load properly and timely on any of our devices was if we were in the lobby or lounge areas. The restaurant was great, with gorgeous views and great live music. Food was also very good. I think if you were traveling with a pet this would be a great spot to stay. The free bike rentals were great. We biked the discovery trail during our stay. All in all our stay was ok, and in reality this may be the trendiest hotel that Long Beach, WA has to offer.
