This was our favorite place on Lopez Island. It is about a 1.5 mile hike in, but the slight incline is not hard and well worth it for the views. We were lucky enough to see a pod of orca whales from the top. On a clear day you can also have views of the Olympics, Mount Rainier, and Mount Baker from the point.
If you’re driving a car you park at Agate Beach County Park and walk up the street to begin the short hike. After about a quarter mile on the road keep an eye out for the sign to turn right down the path into the woods. If you are biking Lopez then you can ride your bike most of the way until about the last quarter mile where you'll have to walk it.
This is a must see when visiting Lopez!
