Stopped for lunch. Prompt and friendly service. Space is fairly clean but dated. The lunch menu seemed interesting so we tried a variety of items. The large pancake was a hit. The sandwiches, soup, sides and fries were a let down. The issue clearly lies with the kitchen. A little more attention to each item would have really benefitted them.
I'd recommend them for breakfast and possibly the gorgeous looking desserts but not for lunch at this time.

Went to breakfast here with brother and sister in law and had a lovely breakfast. The waitress was attentive and kept our coffee mugs filled, the servings were huge and we got our order quickly. The restaurant is decorated to reflect the Dutch heritage of the town and community and you can order fresh baked goods to go. I have also eaten here for lunch in years past. We have never been disappointed with food or service here.

After a long wait at the border while on our way from Vancouver, BC to LaConner, WA we ended up taking a circuitous route that included Lynden just in time for a late breakfast. We were warmly welcomed and taken through to a side room furnished with comfortable and interesting curious reflecting the Dutch heritage of the farming community. Our breakfasts consisted of ONE HUGE pancake, delicious sausages, 2 eggs cooked to our taste and a cup of coffee. More than enough food - and all very tasty. Highly recommend this stop.

i found this place through trip advisor - and we were very happy with our choice. the food was delicious and there was a lot of it. didn't need to have another meal that day! i tasted the strawberry freezer jam that came with my husband's breakfast, delicious! i had their giant dutch pancake - apple, pecan, cinnamon - served with butter, syrup, and whipped cream! didn't need either the butter or syrup…(they have other flavors as well)

the restaurant is large, so in more active seasons, it probably fills up, but we were there at a quiet time and it was charming with locals at adjacent tables. good service - we'd go back if we were in town again.

it's right on the main drag with shops and other businesses up and down the street. also in walking distance to the pioneer museum which is worth a visit.

Everything was delicious! Friendly service, unique decor. A really nice place. We had biscuits and gravy and chicken fried steak, and agreed they were the best we ever had.
