From the minute we walked into this restaurant we had great service. When the special salad of the evening was described - caprese - fresh heirloom tomatoes and basil from local gardens - we ordered one and when it arrived, ordered another - best caprese salad I have had (Italy included!). We ordered 3 pizzas - all were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of crust and toppings - had a cheese pizza plus chicken, a sausage (homemade) pizza plus Mama Lil's peppers and the goat cheese with caramelized onions and balsamic reduction. We were all raving! Finished up with homemade ice creams - chocolate, mint chip (fresh mint from the garden) and triple chocolate cake with mocha frosting - perfectly dense and rich! Will absolutely return!

First visit to his restaurant and we loved it. My wife and daughter each had salad that they said was great and my son in law and I shared the sausage pizza which was excellent. It was too hot to eat outside in their very nice courtyard dining area. Inside was cool and the waiter and husband and wife owners very friendly. This place is great and prices are very reasonable.

We're local residents and strongly believe in supporting our local business community. That said, we also believe the local business community should support the local residents. In this business, we found good food, a nice atmosphere, limited room, high priced but actually not badly valued products, and an owner/manager having a bad day. The pizza is pretty well known among locals as being a bit pricey but very good. Well, we did agree the pricing seemed a bit high, but after having experienced the venue and the food, it is well worth every penny. The venue is small and if you want an outside table you might have to wait a bit. There was some confusion from the owner/manager as we understood they only take reservations for parties of six or more. This night, they took reservations apparently from any size party. They also seated a party that arrived after us before we were seated as they were (by their words) very late for a reservation. Mmmmm.... The owner/manager was very unpleasant to us and we can only hope he was having a bad day. Otherwise, service was good and we look forward to another visit.

Liked the mushroom pizza. Wife raved about the home made italian sausage. Daughter liked the pepperoni. The crust is thin and great tasting. Little bit disappointed by the tiny spinach salad ($8.50) but appreciated the taste & quality of the ingredients. Difficult for a restaurant in small town to make it when they're trying to do the right thing and source local and organic. Totally support this type of restaurant compared to the Sysco processed-food restaurants which are all too common today.

Be prepared to wait on a busy summer night, but it is well worth the wait. Awesome salads and starters to keep you happy until your pizza arrives. Local and fresh ingredients! The BEST pizza I've ever had.
