“A Real Pacific Northwest Restaurant - Very Cozy!”
Reviewed 25 June 2011

Blackfish Grill is located inside the Tulalip Resort and Casino, across the freeway from Marysville. It is a cozy place with a bar area and a sit-down dining area. It's the more casual alternative to the fine dining Tulalip Bay next door. The two places seem to share a kitchen, though you don't notice. It's not all that big, and it is not blocked off from the casino area. The bar kind of acts as a border between the restaurant and the casino. The ambience of the restaurant is quite cozy - with NW styling, and warm glows from the fireplace and open kitchen. The bar is stylish and trendy, and the full menu is served there if you wish. The menu is strong on seafood and steaks, as you might expect, and lots of menu items sounded tasty.

We had king crab legs, which seemed to have been frozen and at a premium price ($46), but the crab cakes were outstanding. The wine list was NW-heavy (which we liked), and they had reasonably priced NW wines by the glass that were quite nice. Too bad about the crab legs being frozen, but they were still really good.
