“Fast Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 July 2014

My wife and I booked a table on line having heard many good reports from others. We were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The server was pleasant and efficient. Anxious to get our order although we were first in the restaurant that evening we said we would prefer to have a cocktail first to unwind. Our drinks arrived in good time but shortly afterwards we were asked if ready to order. We ordered our starters and main course...big mistake! We were enjoying our appetizers when the main course arrived, much to quickly. Rather than have our main courses go cold we asked to have our starters but in a box "to go" as they were not a hot meal. The food was excellent if not feeling a little rushed. Advice to others do NOT order your main course at the same time if having a starter. We will return again having learned a valuable lesson.

“Suprisingly enchanting for a casino Asian restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 June 2014

Well appointed and charming Asian music tinkling in the back ground. You are seated and offered green tea instantly...not a gourmet level green tea but drinkable nonetheless..
.The servers here are so,so much better than the Cedars cafe. Enthusiastic, knowledgable and charming service and an exciting range of choices on the menu. I sipped the plum wine Bombay sapphire East cocktail and liked it.
I really wanted to try everything. The menu is enticing. I enjoyed the appys, thought the dough was too thick on the Har Gow. Bulgogi and hubby customised his BoLuc Lac beef and loved the chefs creation.Thank you so much Chef for being so available to his palate...Superb! I loved the chinese broccoli but was too full too finish. Fried rice was tasty and the desserts were awesome..Tapioca with thai basil infusion with mango sorbet and fresh sweet mango was to die for! Great dessert chef here! I thought the portions were HUGE. Its a great choice of menu and executed well.

“A Pleasant Surprise!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 June 2014

It seemed odd to find an Asian restaurant in the middle of a First Nations (Native American) casino, but we were hungry and in the neighborhood. The casino, by the way, is beautifully decorated with appropriate cultural arts. We had the Steamed Fish (halibut), Pad Thai with Prawns, a side order of Kimchee, and the Tapioca dessert with mango. The fish was excellent, cooked perfectly and seasoned nicely with ginger, green onion, a mild soy broth, and red bell pepper. The Pad Thai noodles were fresh and the prawns both abundant and tasty. We weren't such fans of the Kimchee, which was so-so. However, the dessert was darn near a perfect finish to the meal, complementing the main courses, not too sweet but flavorful. Our server (Valentin) was attentive, helpful, and very professional in a quite European kind of way.

“Different Experience”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 May 2014

After reading the rest of the reviews and comparing to our one experience there, I felt I had to write my own review. We had dinner there late in April and we entered the restaurant just as it opened. We were seated immediately. The wait staff was extremely attentive and very friendly, providing us with advice on serving styles (you can be served western - each person has his own plate, or eastern style where the dishes are served family style) and food choices. Both our entrees were excellent - Spicy Shrimp and vegetables was to die for and the Bulgogi beef was delicious, could have been spicier but not expected. We had a salmon roll for appetizer, two orders of Saki and a desert. The total bill was under $45!!

We have since been back for the salmon and tuna rolls on a couple of other occasions (they have an outside bar in the casino itself) and have been happy.

Overall, this is a restaurant that we plan on visiting again, we loved the food, service, price and atmosphere.

“Good food but not too authentic”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 April 2014

First time I tried it. Took a long time to get a table and the service was slow when we got one. The food was what would be expected but caters to a very wide taste in Asian food. It's ok but I would not wait 40 minutes again to eat there. The seating is also very uncomfortable...again not sure if it's a restaurant or cafeteria. One comment is that the place is very noisy, the kitchens are open and overwhelms the ambiance of the place.
