“Good location, ok stay”

This hotel is very convenient for overnight when going on outlet shopping trip. As there aren't many comparable hotels nearby, room rate is a bit high for a HIE. However, hotel is good with friendly staff, clean rooms. Good basic breakfast is included so it is very good value for family. My only complaint is the air conditioning/heating system is very noisy. I didn't sleep very well due to that.

And a shuttle bus to the casino! Stayed here with another couple as we were attending an event at the Tulalip Casino and didn't want to pay the extremely high price for a room at the casino's hotel. The Holiday Inn Express delivered: inexpensive but very comfortable room that included a fridge and microwave. There is also a small seating area with fold-out couch, nice to be able to sit down and watch TV without having to sit on the bed. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, even turned on the TV in the lobby at our request so we could watch the Mariners game before we headed to the casino. Shuttle runs every hour and takes only about 5 minutes from the front door of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was standard fare - pastries, cereal, yogurt, make-your-own-waffles, etc. - but was well stocked. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

We stayed at this hotel when a group of friends spent a few days shopping and gambling at tulalip. The rooms were spacious and clean with very comfortable beds. The location is perfect off of the I-5 yet our room was very quiet.
Excellent breakfast with a variety of hot and cold foods. Much better price than the tulalip resort yet just as close. Has a shuttle that ends at midnight. A taxi to and from the casino would be around $10. Will definitely stay again.

Virtually every newer one of these properties is identical....the McDonald's of hotel rooms. The free, or rather included breakfast is a decent incentive. Room was clean (what I could see without a black light) and decent. What I expected.

My husband and I were looking for something last minute and so we thought we'd give this place a try because we travel with 2 small dogs and they accept pets with a $40 additional charge (not per pet). Generally, when we stay at a place that takes pets..I don't have high expectations because the rooms either smell of cleaner or...well... pets. This room, however, was very nice and clean and just smelled normal. No overpowering smells of any kind. We got a king suite which is only $10 more than a king room. It was spacious, with a small kitchen area with a mini fridge and sink, a couch, and an additional seating area with 2 chairs and a table. The bed was really comfortable and had 2 king pillows per side with extra pillows in the room for the couch. The window in the room also opened a little for fresh air. My only complaint would be that they didn't have a thick curtain that closes over the window to block light. It just had the thin white curtains and thicker curtains to the side, but they didn't close. Maybe it was just that room (211)..I don't know. I wouldn't let that keep me from staying there again though. All the staff we encountered were friendly and the complimentary breakfast was nice.

Room Tip: The king suite is only $10 more than a regular king room.

We stayed here about a month ago. Sorry the review is coming so late. But After a bad stay at another area Hotel. I WANTED TO GIVE THIS ONE THE GREAT REVIEW IT DESERVES. We arrived late...thought it seemed a bit pricey. But the customer service was great. The rooms were very clean and comfy. Breakfast was good too. Very satisfying stay. I'll make sure we call or book ahead next time because it was sold out our last trip. THANKS! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

We just spent the weekend here, and every person with whom we interacted was very gracious and helpful--from advising us on potential eating establishments nearby to sorting out a potential credit card confusion. The whole building was clean and fresh-looking; the breakfasts were tasty with lots of options easily accessed; and the cookies in the lobby were simply yummy!

Room Tip: The hide-a-bed in our suite isn't as comfy as the king bed is. :-)
