My husband and I enjoy finding quiet ,unique places when we travel. We were looking for a place near Mt. Rainier National Park to spend a couple of days after an Alaskan Cruise. We knew we had found the perfect place when we found Mineral Lake Lodge! Ron and Ramona were so friendly and made us feel welcome the moment we entered their home. They were very informative about the history of the house, places to eat, and things to see in the area. The lodge has been beautifully restored and updated, but kept the feel of the original lodge with lovely antiques and furniture. This was the perfect ending to a wonderful vacation and we know that if we get a chance to come back, we will definitely stay here again. Thanks Ron and Ramona for making us feel like part of your family!

My husband, 12 year old daughter and I went to the "Music in the Mountain" Jazz festival in Mineral, WA for Father's Day - and chose to stay at this amazing lodge. What a wonderful choice we made! The building was beyond clean. The decorating of this antique lodge was beyond perfection (so many 'period' pieces - it was like living in a museum) - and the owners Ramona and Ron were beyond welcoming. We loved it! The days were overcast - so did not get to see their amazing view - but we plan on going back in the summer. Property is so gorgeous - well done!

The Mineral Lake Lodge is a nice place to stay, rooms are clean and spacious. In the evening it gets really quiet and you can have a good sleep. The view on Mt Rainier is just perfect. But the breakfast is a drawback. Advertised as a continental breakfast you get juice, milk, cereals, slices of bread (wrapped in cellophane) and some muffins (which are not fresh in my opinion) . All this to be eaten from disposable dishes, with disposable knifes, forks. The property is currently for sale, and it feels like it sold its soul already.

Thank you very much for your compliments on the nice, clean and spacious rooms and the great nights of sleep you had here at our lodge. You are correct in stating that the view of Mt. Rainier is "perfect" and I would like to add that we are the ONLY lodging establishment that has that view of Mt. Rainier and Mineral Lake... Our complimentary muffins and breakfast beverages are advertised as such on our website on the home page the 7th bullet down. One of the mornings that you were here we had blueberry muffins, poppy seed muffins, english muffins, toaster pop tarts, 2 kinds of cold cereal, 10 kinds of hot cereal. (other mornings we may serve bagels & cream cheese, doughnuts or other kinds of muffins.) In the refrigerator there was orange juice, apple juice, milk, butter and jelly. At our beverage station there was gourmet coffee, cocoas, hot apple cider and many kind of teas. I do take the care to individually wrap the bread for freshness and so that big harry arms don't go inside a bread sack!! There is a fully equipped kitchen which was not pictured, with many cupboards full of any kind of dish/glass/cup/silverware that you could want. There is also a side table with paper/plastic if you prefer that. Webster's dictionary says a continental breakfast is coffee & bread and as you can see I serve much more than I advertise, which IS complimentary muffins and beverages. **This couple from the Netherlands spoke to me about wanting eggs for breakfast and according to the Lewis County Health Department (I took the time to make the call) I am required by law NOT to accommodate such a request. We feel what we serve for our area, is more than complimentary.

We found this little piece of Heaven a week after they opened several years ago and this Valentine's weekend was our sixth visit.
We have enjoyed our stays more each time with our favorite cozy room in this treasure of a log lodge. The beautiful view of Mt Rainier and Mineral Lake from the lodge is breathtaking on a clear day.
For a quiet, relaxing getaway and a little romance this is one of our favorite places to come. With a short drive you can enjoy some fantistic food and many outdoor activities including a visit to Mt Rainier.
Ron and Mona are fabulous hosts and we always leave feeling well taking care of. They are more than just Inn keepers....we consider them friends and look forward to our seventh visit soon.

We spent three days and two nights at the Lodge and had a great time. The owner (Romona and Ron) are great people and really made us feel like family. They also gave us good tips and where to go and what to see since we were from Wisconsin and pretty much lost. Our room and our friends room both had private baths which we always appreciate. One final thought, the view of the mountain (Rainier) from the front porch was spectacular. There is
only a few places where you can get a view like this and if the weather is good it will be your lucky day. Thanks again Ron and Ramona it was fun spending a few days with you.

The Mineral Lake Lodge, a 100+ year old historic inn in the charming town of Mineral, is one of the loveliest places I've stayed in a half century of travel. The lodge is beautifully decorated in period antiques, has swimming and boating access across the road in the sparkling waters of Mineral Lake, and a stunning view of Mt. Rainier from the ample and relaxing front porch. A TV room stocked with a good variety of videos and reading material on the fascinating local history of this former boom town, plus a sauna and help-yourself full kitchen, round out the amenities. Rooms are cozy and immaculate. Hosts Ramona and Ron are the icing on the cake. They truly enjoy their guests, and are a great couple to swap stories with.

The town of Mineral is a funky little place to wander around. Shops are thankfully few, but the ones they are an eclectic blend of organic foods cafe with full menu meals, a biker bar with great food and friendly atmosphere, and a general store.

Each time we stay at Mineral Lake Lodge, we have a wonderful time. My husband and I come here to relax. Our initial impression is always WOW....I can't believe these people actually open their beutiful home to strangers. Ron and Ramona are very kind and hospitable. We come away feeling like we have new friends that are just like family members. Ron and Ramona have an incredible knowledge of the communitee and Mount Rainier area. They go out of their way to make sure their guests are happy and entertained.
