Hi-Tide Ocean Beach Resort
Ranked #3 of 3 Hotels in Moclips
Certificate of Excellence

The resort is an excellent choice for a visit to the Washington's north beaches. The location gives you easy access to the beach, and excellent views from all units. The units are spacious, immaculate, and well-stocked with kitchen supplies. If you're there for razor clam digging, you'll appreciate the good clam-cleaning area on the grounds. Management and staff are friendly and helpful. The only (minor) downside is that there are few eating-out options or supermarkets nearby, so be sure to buy your groceries ahead of time.

Room Tip: Best views on 2nd floor, but most 1st floor units also have good views and don't involve stairs...

I would have given this resort a 5 out of 5 if I hadn't accidentally left two expensive ski coats behind in the closet which were not returned to me. Overall the staff seemed super friendly and the room was nice and clean. A great place for dogs. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this resort as our experience ended badly. I hope they find the thief before it damages their great service.

The guests called the day after checking out regarding their missing coat. I immediately went to their room and checked. I thoroughly searched the room, no coat was there. The room was secured and no one had been in the room since they checked out, including any housekeeping staff. I called the guests and informed them that there was no coat in the room.
The following day they called back and said that two coats were left in the room. I checked the room again, and then talked to the entire staff. Nothing was found. We maintain a lost and found and there were no coats there as well.
Frequently guests leave items behind and we label the item and save it for their next visit. More often, we have been returning the item by mail. We are sorry for the loss of our customer’s coats and did everything possible to find them.
Sincerely,
Bob Crozier

We have visited this area of the coast for 30 years, always in the winter. Storm watching is exciting and there are no crowds. After 28 years we left behind a resort that has become run down and switched to the Hi Tide at Moclips. A 2nd floor corner 2 bedroom unit with a fully equiped large kitchen, large living room, windows everywhere, flat screen TV, wi-fi , fire place and just a short walk over the dunes to the beach. The off season rate for three nights was incredibly reasonable. ´We have a friend who brings her dog. There was a doggie hospitality basket waiting. There is an extra charge per night for the dog as there should be. The managers are welcoming and low key. Don´t miss this!

Room Tip: A second floor unit gives you a good view of the water. We go during the week and have never had an...

This was one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. They provided logs for the fireplace everyday. Had a separate bedroom, dining/living room, fully stocked kitchen with appliances, pots and pans, dishes, etc. Exceptionally clean and beautiful view of the ocean. We had never stayed there before but some friends that we travelled with had many years ago. We were not disappointed and we would definitely go back again and again. Everyone was wonderful! Congratulations to the people who work at this hotel.

Took advantage of winter half price sale, my wife and I enjoyed a peaceful stay with great views of the ocean. Units have separate bedroom with soft support mattress although acceptable. Good kitchen unit for cooking your own meals as there is not much to eat locally unless you drive south to Ocean Shores about 20 miles away. We enjoyed our walks along the quiet beaches and enjoyed watching the surf roll in. TV and fireplace make the room cozy, internet reception good and there is no phone service. Very nice place to have a winter getaway break. We would definitely come back again. Great place to bring along your dog.

Room Tip: Second floor end unit best has extra window

We've been to the Hi-Tides at least a dozen times over the years. This is one of our favorite places we've ever been. Close to Seattle, WA (within 2-1/2 hours), the views from the rooms are fantastic! The rooms are well-equipped for cooking your own meals, having other friends/ tenants of Hi-Tides over for meals, games, and many other activities. We love reading the journals, left in the rooms, and adding our own memories each time we visit.

We have a group of friends who enjoy going to Hi-Tides once a year; it doesn't matter if it's cold and rainy/stormy or beautiful and warm - any time or weather everyone can enjoy the energy of the All Mighty Pacific Ocean! The staff is also wonderful... they'll change your beds and linens, and make beds (optional); leave a daily paper, and a "Doggy" basket with lots of towels and a bone for each pet, to keep the dogs happy, dry, and feeling as special as they are.

We hope you enjoy the Hi-Tides as much as our groups of 8-14 have, every year! We can't wait to get back!

Room Tip: If you can 'do' stairs, get a room on the 2nd floor - the view is even better up there. The...

My dog and I shared a room here and had a wonderful weekend. She even got a welcome basket in the room with towels and a bone. Our room was comfortable, a nice deck for her to look at the beach and fireplace with logs daily. We had a relaxing time walking the beach and playing fetch. Thank you. We both needed a girls weekend...
