We spent a great 3 nights here last week and it was perfect! The staff are wonderful. The suite was clean, well equipped and very comfortable. The location is on a dead end, super peaceful.
We will be back for sure, and will tell all our friends.

Room Tip: the 2nd floor has a great view, next time I would rather be on the 1st floor, but that is just me, i...

We have stayed at the Hi-Tide for many years. We've loved it before kids and with kids. The dogs love the beach. Love the new updates to the resort and you couldn't ask for a better location. It's wonderful to storm watch from the upper level rooms.

I have stayed there almost every year for probably 15 or more years. I have stayed with kids, without kids, with dogs, without dogs...and every time has been wonderful. I have been there at Christmas, Spring Break, and summer. The really special thing about this place is the location. It is right on the beach, but it is also right along a river that borders the beach to the North, at the Reservation. The beach is just spectacular. Soft sand which stretches on and on. The property has easy access out to the beach and nice little trails to the river as well. The rooms are always clean and well-stocked, the kitchen is always clean and everything works. The hosts are friendly and you simply couldn't find a better spot to bring a dog or two. We have occasionally branched out to try other spots, but always come back here.

Had booked this trip way in advance. Going was just me and my daughter who is 6. Her only request was to eat clam chowder in a bread bowl in our room. LOL. As it was getting closer to go, rec'd an email from resort for lower rates if booking for 3 nights or more. One quick email and Bob, the manager responded by changing reservation to new rates!!! I wanted a place to go where we were right on the beach and felt safe....both were delivered by Hi Tide. Loved our room, #23 on second floor. Fabulous view of ocean and comfy bed, as well as very comfortable chairs while watching ocean or movies. We did have our clam chowder in room, Thank you to a friend who gave us a heads up about BREAKWATER SEAFOOD in Aberdeen. Their chowder was so good we stopped on way home and got more. Going during spring break, you never know about weather and we lucked out...sunny and no rain. Still cold and windy but can deal with that. 1st day, we headed out and started sand castle making and to finish we were searching for shells or feathers to add and ended up in waves with daughter getting knocked over and totatlly soaked. I must give a special THANK YOU Melinda. As we were coming back to hotel to rinse off and try to figure out where we needed to go dry her only coat, Melinda offered to put it in their dryer for us. Melinda...I can't thank you enough for helping us out that day!!! I think we loved exploring Moclips river more than the beach. We headed out on the trails and came upon the "Nook" and loved it!!! Went back later at low tide and loved exploring that whole area. We had sandwiches one day one the grassy area, played some frisbee and used the horseshoe pits. Also did the whole painted rocks. Will be fun going back and seeing our rocks!!! We weren't finding shells, so went to town to buy a few. Came back that afternoon and tide out...waundering along rivers/ocean edge and found the "mother lode" of amazing shells!!! Never had I found shells like this at the beach!!! We had a wonderful fire in our room every evening with the supplied logs. And enjoyed watching movies we'd brought from home. Cant wait until we make it back to this fabulous place!!! Hoping we can bring more family with us next time!!! ALso enjoyed alot of time watching all the hummingbirds...so cool how you can hear them even if they are over in the bushes and not at the feeders!! We had originally planned on taking our dog, but with just me and my daughter, I wasn't sure about bringing him. Next time, Jake will surely be with us. What a wonderful place for dog lovers!!! Again, Thank you Bob and Melinda, as well as other staff whom I didn't get their names. This place delivered exactly what was needed for a trip!!!

Taking a drive up the coast with no preset plans, we ended up spending a night here. Not only were we able to get a great spot last minute but it fit my criteria nicely, a quiet spot with a view of the waves and easy access to the beach. As a bonus our condo has a fireplace and full kitchen. There is not a lot of other stuff around here so we ran to the store to get some basics and had a nice walk on the beach and evening in our condo. We discovered the nearby town and parks and are now making plans to come back again with our family. A beautiful spot.

After several years of going to Hi Tide, management has changed the rules. The wife and I have usually loved taking our 4 mini-aussies on a doggie vacation to the Hi Tide. This year was different. Management said we can no longer bring 4 dogs. They have a limit of 2. The excuse was "The board won't let them accept more than 2 dogs". If they are doing well enough that they don't need our business, more power to them. We won't be going back. There is another facility one block away that will be getting our business, 4 dogs and all.
