We were at this restaurant for a special event, and our group had rented a banquet area. The food was very good. Quite tasty, served hot, and very enjoyable. No complaints there at all!
However...........the tables for our group, which was about 50 people, were all placed too close together. It was very hard to move around once people were seated without disrupting someone else's meal by asking them to move so you could get out! The staff really needed to give us a bit more room for our event. The server was very nice, and quite personable. I liked him very much. However...........our event included an awards presentation, and during this presentation the hostess came in and started taking down the buffet. This would have been fine if the buffet was in the back of the room, but it was in the front of the room, right behind where the host of our event was trying to hand out awards and congratulate members of our party. It was quite distracting. The hostess even folded up the banquet/serving tables while our host was speaking, and he had to step out of her way. Really unprofessional!
Overall, this venue is very nice. The view is gorgeous, with the lake stretching out into the distance. For the area, it is THE place for special events. It was too bad that this one staff member took a bit of the shine off of the evening.
