Owner description: Located approximately 25 miles north of Seattle, The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour is the only public tour of a commercial jet assembly plant in North America. Explore the interactive exhibits and displays in our 28,000-square-foot Aviation Center Gallery; then take a 90-minute tour of the Boeing plant where you can watch 747s, 777s, or 787 Dreamliners being assembled right before your eyes. There is a minimum height requirement of 4 feet (122 cm) for children participating in the Boeing Tour. To avoid disappointment please make sure to check height before purchasing tickets. This restriction is strictly enforced. ADA accessible tours are offered twice daily. Call in advance to ensure proper accommodations. In the Future of Flight Aviation Center Gallery, the Family Zone is home to a number of different activities, all designed around a theme of aircraft manufacturing and assembly. Activity carts let visitors build a simple aircraft model, or use our Lego (and Lego-compatible) pieces to express new ideas about aircraft design. A kid-sized airport and aircraft allow future pilots of all ages to practice their take-offs and landings. Currently, the Family Zone is also home to a highly engaging, hands-on nanotechnology exhibit, and a Bernoulli Table, an exciting interactive experience that teaches the relationship between the velocity of air and the pressure it exerts. Coloring and reading activities are also available, and drop-ins are welcome. Admission is free for ticket holders and for Institute of Flight members.

The Future of Flight does a terrific job of showing off the planes and the assembly plant.
The guide, Joanne, was well informed and interesting. They are very accommodating to people with special needs, and it was fun to see so many enormous planes at once.

The narrated factory tour and the museum (Free!) are all great... every bit informative and brings out fascinating facts about Boeing. A good way to spend an afternoon.

The tour was great, we were a group of 7 (3 adults , 4 kids). We all enjoyed it and it was a perfect amount of time (90 minute tour).

Purchasing online was easy and worth the discount.
I received a confirmation email but the email did not contain a link to print the vouchers. When we arrived at the tour location, we inserted our credit card into a kiosk and a message said no tickets found.
The driving directions on the site need to be updated to include a gps street address. Unfamiliar with the area, we drove north on I-5 in the HOV lane. We saw the exit sign above the HOV lane leading us to believe there would be an exit to SR526 from the HOV lane. Not so. We missed the exit and wound our way around Everett looking for I-5 signs to backtrack. It was a good thing we allowed extra time to get to the tour.
The tour was ok. The intro video about Bill Boeing was good. Too much time next was spent in the tunnels and not enough on the viewing balconies. Everything felt very rushed. Little time to ask our guide any questions.
The "cafe" mentioned on the site is an expresso stand. We planned to eat there but went to Mukilteo Landing instead.

Thanks for visiting us. We are happy that you were able to get the discount by booking ahead. Thank you for pointing out the HOV lane challenge. The GPS location is listed on the website, and is 8415 Paine Field Blvd., Mukilteo, WA 98036. It is important to remember to insert the same credit card you used to purchase tickets online at the kiosk for pick up when you arrive.

Mukilteo Landing is a fine place to eat and there are other great restaurants on the Mukilteo Speedway and on the waterfront as well.

I wanted to see the factory and wasn't disappointed. Very cool to see all the giant machines being built.
