Owner description: Located approximately 25 miles north of Seattle, The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour is the only public tour of a commercial jet assembly plant in North America. Explore the interactive exhibits and displays in our 28,000-square-foot Aviation Center Gallery; then take a 90-minute tour of the Boeing plant where you can watch 747s, 777s, or 787 Dreamliners being assembled right before your eyes. There is a minimum height requirement of 4 feet (122 cm) for children participating in the Boeing Tour. To avoid disappointment please make sure to check height before purchasing tickets. This restriction is strictly enforced. ADA accessible tours are offered twice daily. Call in advance to ensure proper accommodations. In the Future of Flight Aviation Center Gallery, the Family Zone is home to a number of different activities, all designed around a theme of aircraft manufacturing and assembly. Activity carts let visitors build a simple aircraft model, or use our Lego (and Lego-compatible) pieces to express new ideas about aircraft design. A kid-sized airport and aircraft allow future pilots of all ages to practice their take-offs and landings. Currently, the Family Zone is also home to a highly engaging, hands-on nanotechnology exhibit, and a Bernoulli Table, an exciting interactive experience that teaches the relationship between the velocity of air and the pressure it exerts. Coloring and reading activities are also available, and drop-ins are welcome. Admission is free for ticket holders and for Institute of Flight members.

I heard about this tour and booked it online at the boeing site before my trip to seattle. My wife and I took separate tours of the plant that day because we have a 2 yr old son and kids that young are not allowed on the tour. If you love planes this is heaven because you get to learn and see alot of planes. I saw 747, 777, 787 in the big hanger and in the yard being worked on, you will be walking a lot so be ready, also no picture taking on tour, cameras and cell phones have to be left behind in the car or there are lockers for rent at $1. This is a must see if you are visiting Seattle. The Boeing plant is in Everett and easy to find, it's 35 minutes from downtown Seattle. Buy your tickets before you get there to garantee your spot on the tour, because it get crowed up there. Very cool tour, enjoy!

This was a tour my husband has always wanted to do. We were not disappointed. This is a phenomenal tour. The tour guide (Greg) was very knowledgeable and had a great voice for a tour guide. Would definitely recommend this tour

The Future of Flight Cnter was sparce and did not offer enough educational videos of aviation’s past and future. The Boeing Tour was also abbreviated, and would benefoit by pictorial videos that showed the assembly process for each aircraft.

Thank you for visiting us and for your feedback.

There are several videos offering a look at the past and future including the 707 barrel roll that Tex Johnston performed over Lake Washington during Sea Fair.

If you'd like to look at other videos that show the assembly process, you can go to the Boeing website or newairplane.com

Tour seemed rushed and due to the number of people, and our tour guides lack of directing them, it was difficult to see things. Tour guide skipped over several historical items on viewing deck and did not provide background information concerning them.

Children have to be over four feet tall to go on this tour. There is a bit of walking and stairs involved in the tour, though they do have alternatives for those who need additional help.

Would not recommend going during peak season.
