We travel frequently and stay at Hilton hotels when we do. We are used to a certain standard because of these experiences. We chose this Hilton Garden Inn because it was a convenient location for our visit. The first impression when we checked in was that the staff was very disinterested or poorly trained in their jobs. Our next impression was that it is a shabby appearing hotel compared to other HIlton hotels. We were warned the elevator was working sporadically. When we entered the room we discovered the desk chair with the seat ripped out. The chair was replaced when we requested it.
The most distressing issue was discovered when we returned home and realized that someone (housekeeping staff??) had carefully gone through our luggage and taken prescription medications. That was definitely disappointing.More
