Best clam chowder around. Visit the restaurant and enjoy the wonderful decor or order at the walk up window if you are in a hurry because you're waiting for the ferry. You will not be disappointed !

A winning combination this evening: Salads are fresh and crisp----Waiter knew his beer and the main entrees'---The Black Cod beautifully plated was melt-in-your-mouth great---View was tremendous---the Sea Hawks won----So what could be better???( A drab of Irish Mist perhaps?) The waiter did not know what that was!
Never-the-less, an excellent evening.

I recently met a client for lunch here and thought the food was good and the view was great. Would recommend for a business lunch as the staff was attentive but let us linger as we had some business to discuss over a working lunch...

Friends from Oregon (Duck fans who we consider friends anyway) were visiting and we had a wonderful dinner after the game. Swordfish with crab slaw, crab cakes, salmon, and the Taste of the Northwest sampler were all excellent. They have a lovely wine list. We arrived about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night and the crowd had thinned out. Megan the hostess and Larry and Eric the waiters were super! This was our third visit and it's always good. The dining rooms are comfortable and decorated with ship models and factual stories about Puget Sound with humorous embellishments. The view of the Whidbey Island Ferry and the Sound are incomparable. The bar looks inviting and cozy. It's an excellent restaurant for couples and families.

We had a lovely window table. The wait was long,1 1/2 hrs. but they texted us at our room next door when our table was ready. The crab bisque was the best I have ever eaten, with lots of crab in it. I had the Appie Trio, as my main meal, and enjoyed it. The crab cakes were a bit bland; but the coconut prawns were huge and the tuna tataki superb. My partner had the 1 1/2 # king crab legs and felt the serving was small. There could be a better drinks menu. I loved my blood orange Cosmo. Our waiter was over the top in his explanations and interactions. The bill was high but worth it.
