Been driving by this place forever and finally decided to stop by since we enjoy good Greek food from time to time. Frankly had read not that great of reviews in years past, is why we never stopped here before. But, against better judgment, decided to give them a shot since noticed a number of cars there at lunchtime on a Sunday, which turned out most of them were probably there for breakfast....oops. Might be an alright place for breakfast, but we decided to try their Greek food instead.
The positives are the place appear to be clean inside. The atmosphere is totally lacking and feels more like a coffee shop. We ordered appetizers first. The pita bread was alright but I have a hunch was store bought warmed up. The yogurt Greek sauce, Tzatziki, didn't taste all the fresh and reminded me of, again, store bought. Just something preprocessed in the flavor. We ordered Gyros. They were more like Slaviki wraps than Gyros with chunks of meat instead of fresh cut thin slices I am accustomed to having at more authentic Greek restaurants. The meat tasted like it had been made the day before and warmed up. What was surprising is how long in between the appetizers and the Gyros took, since didn't taste all that fresh. Service was really slow. When the bill came, I was a bit shocked it came to so much for such a place like this. I won't say we will not be back but definitely would not go out of my way for this place.
