We had a party of 4 people and we liked our lunch. You order at the counter where you also look over many good looking bakery items. The food is brought out to you at your table. There are some outdoor tables out the back which is great on a sunny day. It was good service, good food, clean restaurant. 3 of us had panini sandwiches - you choose your meat, your cheese and your condiments. There are no pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, etc which I would have liked to add. The bread is homemade on site and very good. You also have a choice of potato salad or macaroni salad plus you get chips - just plain ruffle chips. The 4 person in our party had the pulled pork sandwich which comes with the same side offerings and he liked it. So overall, it was good and did the trick. Nothing more than average food for us but we want to try the breakfast in the future to see if that is good as well. The flavored water offered for free was very nice since we didn't want to add the cost of bottled water.

We had been bemoaning the shortage of independent bakeries on our drive into town. Then found this place and happily ate our words. Managed to stop in three times in three days. Ate a variety of pastries, and enjoyed each one. The pastries were light and flakey, the fillings perfect-not too sweet or cloying. Sandwiches were great( the bread outstanding). And the clam chowder was excellent.

Nice place, but service and menu somewhat lacking. No one at counter when I wanted to order. When she did show up, she was pleasant, but I had to repeat every detail of my order because she kept getting it wrong. Limited choices, with no fresh items at all. Have seldom had such a plate full of fat, carbs, and starch..Grilled Swiss cheese sandwich was on delicious wheat bread, but soaked in grease/butter. Only 2 "salad" choices, macaroni (quite good) & potato. And potato chips. Really? Afraid a little color might spoil the look of the plate? Beverages were self-serve, with an empty ice water dispenser. Do hope they come up with some fresh salad or fruit options - menu promises a salad bar coming soon. Baked goods looked good, but no prices displayed, and no one available to ask. Watched two potential customers come and go without ordering because there was no one at the counter. Hope they can improve on that, because it looks like a place that could and should do well.

We stopped in to try a lunch.
Very dissapointing.limited menu,
Poorly written, no prices or descriptions on the pastries,
Confused counter help.
My wife tried a French dip...
Barely any meat ,but overcooked roast beef,
Good bread,old potato salad &chips for $9.99.
I had a very average( at best) cup of chowder, that included a roll for$5.00.No ,you can't just order chowder by itself??go figure.
They are so frugal ,they actually
Weigh the meat for their sandwiches!!
I was excited to try this place, bit I am not excited to return...very dissapointing.I don't think they will be around for long....John

Stopped in for a mid afternoon treat. Found that in a large raspberry square. Also found a couple delicious fruit turnovers for breakfast.
This is a definite stop when in town.
