Galway Bay is always full of fun people and great food. The entertainment on the weekends is top-drawer. Liam and Chris are wonderful hosts and always make us feel welcome and special. Their clam chowder is the best around and all of the food is super. Check out the gift shop for Irish items galore; a full bar of Scotch & Irish Whiskeys, a good selection of wines and beers. If its nice, you can eat outside. There's a room between the bar & the gift shop where you can play chess or backgammon or scrabble and they show black and white old movies. And, for cigar aficionados, there's a special humidor.

I had done some research on trip advisor about this place and it sounded pretty good. So my wife and I decided to stop in and eat here. Upon entering, we could see it was pretty busy (Memorial day weekend) and waited to be seated. About 7 staff members saw us, even coming to use the register by the counter we waited at. Not one greeting or mention that someone would be right with us. Just completely ignored and not acknowledged. We decided to give it another minute and was seated. Upon being seated, I asked the waitress if I could please see the manager. She balked and said OK. 10 minutes later, the manager comes over and says "did someone ask to see a manager"? My wife said she had but it's okay because whatever she had to say can be said in a review on trip advisor. He then said" Well, I wouldn't place an order because it will be about an hour wait because we are really busy". So I said "so your telling us to go somewhere else because you are too busy to greet us when we waited to be seated?"
We told him that we were just concerned that so many of the waitstaff walked right by us and said nothing. He again just said they were busy and we shouldn't place an order if we were in a hurry. No apologies, nothing but lame excuses. It would have taken 5 seconds for someone to say they will be right with us as they were walking by. Such a disappointment because we were really looking forward to this place. We come to Ocean Shores several times a year and were looking for a good staple place to eat.

Had dinner during the off season. Not many patrons, but a good attentive wait staff. Had their Guinness stew and it was fabulous. Had some traditional appetizers also and all the food was great. Great atmosphere and felt like it was just like a traditional pun in Ireland. Highly recommend it.

Cousins suggested this restaurant so we went as a party of four. The gift shop was amazing, loved the Irish offerings here. The restaurant service was great, and the food was wonderful. The beer was pretty good too! We were there too early in the evening for the entertainment, but we still enjoyed the super service from our friendly waiter. We all had the Shepherd's Pie, and all remarked on how tasty it was. I would go here again.

We had dinner here the other night, and liked the food so much that we ordered take-out pizza the next evening. Yes, they are an Irish pub/restaurant, but also had take-out. Very clean, good food and service, great beers and ales, of course! Bangers & Mash and Fish/Salad dinners were very good, and the soda bread - yum!
