My wife and I stayed for 2 nights with our 7 year old son. The room was a good size with a small view of the ocean. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff pleasant. There is an indoor pool open 24 hours, but it is rather small. The one complaint I have is that there were no pool towels when we visited the pool, and the staff told us that she would bring some in 45 minutes. After an hour, still no towels so my wife walked (wet) to the lobby to ask for some. The lady at the desk reluctantly gave her one room towel and said that she would bring 2 pool towels right out. 30 minutes later, still no towels so we had to dry all 3 of us with one towel. When we walked through the lobby to the elevator, the lady at the desk was chatting with another staff member and looked up at us but never even acknowledged us or apologized for not bringing more towels. Overall we had a good stay, and did not let this minor inconvenience ruin our fun.
I had not traveled to Ocean Shores before and made decision to see the city when my plans to go visit relatives in WA was delayed. Reservations were made the night before. Glad price was so reasonable.
This would be hotel to come to if you only had kids. Poor sound insulation mixed with lots of little kids, you can hear every door in the hotel as they slammed.
Internet was so slow that it was went from barely useable to unusable. Speed test failed or showed numbers that made 56k modems speedy. This was when standing next to the wi-fi router.
Also, the restaurant has half the parking spots reserved so hotel guests have to park next door out out in the ditch.
