“The genuine Italian article!”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

You know you're in a fabulous Italian restaurant when their Bresaola knocks you off your feet! We had to order a second plate!! (and seriously considered a third- just delicious!) Prepared in the perfect Italian tradition!
Everything was excellent! I highly recommend the tomato soup, prepared with just a bit of cream- so fresh & delicious! My husband enjoyed the Bison ribs and the steak was a big hit too. And finally, it will come as no surprise that the pasta was delicious!
This is a real slice of Italy!! To complete the experience the staff was as gracious, knowledgeable, both on food and detailed information on their impressive wine list, as they could be! Do not hesitate- this is the right choice for a fabulous dining experience!!

“Quaint Italian joint”
Reviewed 7 June 2014

The man and woman who own it are very lovely with their Italian accents, both very nice. Good service all around. The price might be normal for a dinner price, but it seemed a little pricey. I ordered tagliolini with mushrooms and it was $19, but the food was very good. The Tagliolini with clams, shrimp, and prawns was also quite good. The Tiramisu was $8, so the price was pretty bad, but it was delicious. Overall, a very nice Italian place.

“Service, Food, Atmosphere - All Excellent!”
Reviewed 24 May 2014

Arriving fairly late (45 min before closing), my son, his friend and I thought we might be turned away. On the contrary, we were warmly greeted, seated and served without being hurried or pushed. The wine was excellent, the service outstanding without being overbearing and the food was tremendous. My generous portion of lasagna was delicious, my son's full plate of braised pork shoulder was so tender it disappeared almost faster than it appeared and his friend's pasta dish was incredibly tasty. While our visit extended beyond closing time, we were never given any hint that the staff was waiting to leave. Can't wait to return on our next visit to Olympia - Basilico has become my favorite restaurant in this charming capital city.

“Awesome”
Reviewed 23 May 2014 via mobile

On a beautiful Thursday evening we decided to try this restaurant for the first time. Greeted by a wonderful young lady, we were seated in a nice table to begin a great Italian evening. Our waiter and wine extraordinaire was outstanding with attentive service all evening. Starting with a grilled vegetable appetizer, we tasted marvelous flavors none ever better. The pasta dishes lasagna and tagliatelle Verdi alla Rivera were both homemade and excellent. We finished with tiramisu for dessert which was also homemade and ranks at the top of the list for freshness. Not for those who want a cheap night out, but worth every penny.
