Can't even begin to describe how disappointing this meal was... the gyro meat was mushy with no browning on it at all, which points to microwave heating. The salad dressing was almost certainly from a jar, and my friend's pizza had sauce that still tasted of canned tomatoes. The waitress interrupted frequently to tell us jokes and riddles, and the iced tea was cloudy and definitely not fresh.

This was our first visit to Adesso. We went because we had a coupon which came in the mail. The restaurant is very rustic looking inside; from the outside, it is not much to look at. We were seated immediately. We had salads with bread while we waited for our entree. The service was somewhat slow, but when our meal arrived, it was explained that Rudy, the chef, was not happy with the way our meal turned out so he redid it, The food was very good, but is somewhat pricey.

There is a menu on-line at http://www.adessoolympia.com/, however, the menu in the restaurant was a little different.

I've been to Adesso twice while visiting Olympia; both visits were excellent. One was with another adult and another visit with friends with 2 small children. They were very accomodating to the children. All of the food I've seen and tasted has been delicious. We were remembered by the owner (?) from our first visit and greeted and thanked for visiting again. Sausage and peppers are really good, they have lots of options for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. I don't know why this place was near empty both times I visited as it was a Friday and Saturday night, but it is worth a try!

It would be easy to miss if we did not have a Living Social voucher which made us search for it. From the street, it looks unimpressive...but the food is fresh and very tasty. We had the Chopped Salad - best ever according to my husband - and Spaghetti Mizithra with very good, non greasy meatballs. Nice ambiance inside - table cloths and nice music. I will try their Lasagna or Cannelloni next time we are in Olympia...husband will get the Chopped Salad again plus one of the above. We were there for lunch but would go for dinner next time,
