This is the boardwalk at downtown Olympia. I've walked this hundreds of times and Love it Every Time. Most recently this morning. There is so much to see and everything looks different with different tides and weather conditions and time of day. The yaughts, the sailboats, the Olympic Mountains in the distance and the wooden boardwalk it's self. Downtown Olympia with its restaurants and Capital Lake on one end and the Farmers Market at the other. It's the Best of Olympia for sure. Don't miss it. Perfect for sunset in Summer.

This is a great place to walk and has absolutely wonderful views of the capital, Olympic Mountains and of course, boats. Couple this with the playground for kids and the new remodel, it is a great place for couples, kids and dogs.

Saw a Harbor Seal and it was impressive to walk and to see all the boats and other people out and about.

This was a pleasant surprise in Olympia. They have done a great job revitalizing the area with the inclusion of local artists and culture. It was a beautiful walk along the boardwalk and the Farmers Market is a must see.

Parking nearby. Take a long walk along the boardwalk. Too bad the Oyster House there just burned down. But, you can get something to eat at the Budd Bay Cafe. It is nice and just a short walk down the boardwalk. Anthony's in just beyond that. And the local Farmer's Market is right next to Anthony's. You can also walk the other way. Past the burned Oyster House Restaurant and on to Bayview Market. They have a coffee shop, sandwiches and groceries. Also a place to eat inside and another on their deck. Many choices and a great place to spend a morning or afternoon. Capital Lake is just a block away and it is another nice place to take a walk. You can walk all the way around the lake and even up the hill to the Capital Campus if you want a good work out. Have fun.
