“Looking for Spicy?”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

We were looking for something with a full bodied BBQ flavor. The BBQ'd ribs, we thought, would be the best first time dinner. Had heard it was very good, busy, so get reservations. I'm sorry, we were very disappointed. Meat was very tender and fell off the bones, fries were ok, beans were good. Plenty to eat but the flavor just wasn't there. The surroundings are very clean and comfortable, excellent service with a smile! Thumbs up to Robb! I don't think we will go back.

“Great little place on the way to or from the ocean”
Reviewed 24 October 2013

This restaurant rebuilt after fire, flood and a wall of mud coming down on them. The owners are very nice with good food and service. The establishment has character with their pig decor. We'll certainly be stopping again.

“Friendly service and delicious, cold BBQ”
Reviewed 16 September 2013

We've been there several times, but our most recent visit was the most memorable. We went on a busy weekend evening and the place was packed. Our servers were very attentive and friendly. We like to eat a large dinner, so a sampler platter and two appetizers with salads was just the right portion. Every bbq dish was delicious, but all of it was served at a lukewarm temperature. The salads and fries were nothing to write home about. The prices are fair, definitely comparable to Famous Dave's. We continue to go back because of the flavor of the BBQ and the great service, but the sides and appetizer are consistently average. Great selection of desserts, the pecan pie is fantastic!

“Loved This BBQ!!!”
Reviewed 8 September 2013

We were headed to SeaBrooke Washington and on the way went to Ranch House BBQ for lunch. It was wonderful. The slow cooked bbq meats were so good! We tried the Brisket, Pulled Pork, and the Chicken with garlic fries. Wonderful! We loved it so much we ate there again on our way back to Seattle. Two times was just what we needed! Robb was our waiter and he was so nice and had great suggestions; Ranch House BBQ is lucky to have such a wonderful waiter! Thanks Robb and THANKS Ranch House BBQ! We will be back soon!

“Out of the way, but decent food”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

We went there for dinner a few days ago and the food was good, though not stellar. I had the Pulled Pork dinner with potato salad and cole slaw and while the potato salad was excellent, the cole slaw wasn't very good - flavorless and oily. The pulled pork had good flavor, but was a little bit on the dry side for my taste. One of my friends had the rack of ribs and I tried a little bit and we both thought it was very good. The baked beans also are excellent with wonderful smoky flavor. We had the deep fried maccaroni balls as an appetizer and I'm usually not a fan of deep fried food, but those were quite tasty. Nice crust with creamy, cheesy, bacony interior without being greasy. The service is slow, at least it was for our table. The food was delivered quickly, but then we didn't see our waitress for quite a while. She didn't come to inquire about the food or if we wanted anything else. We had to wait quite a while until we were able to get our check. So, I guess I would recommend that you try it, it was crowded despite it being quite a ways out of town, so make a reservation if you go there on the weekend.
