We recently had an 80th birthday party in a private banquet room for my father. My brother in law and sister visit this Anthonys somewhat often and they weren't too keen on the idea of having it there only because they hadn't been real happy with the food. But our options were limited and we really wanted a nice venue for this party so my brother in law was going to talk to the manager regarding his concerns about the food beforehand. Quality, flavor, etc. Well he never did get a chance to do this so we just went for it. The restaurant is beautiful, clean and right on the water with view of the marina.

I ordered a pasta primavera I believe it was and it was terrible. No flavor whatsoever. I was disappointed but managed to eat the veggies from it. I asked another brother how his steak was and he was quite happy with it and he is a foodie so I was glad to hear that.

They probably need some better chefs.

I will give Anthony's Olympia another try and will update here.

The food is that of a large chain run restaurant, consistently good, but nothing special. The menu needs to be updated to offer more variety.

This was not our first time having Sunday Brunch at Anthony's, but I don't know that we will be back anytime soon. I have come to the conclusion that what we love at the brunch is the coffee cake and it is somewhat expensive for that. The first time we were there, I thought my entrée was delicious, the last few times, not as much. My dining companion had ordered one of the breakfast bowls which was supposed to be with eggs over medium; the entrée came out with scrambled eggs

We have been here at least 10 times over the last couple of years, and it is consistency good. Always good service, good food and the sourdough bread is as good as it gets. We tend to go for lunch or early dinner, ensuring a window table. You can always make a reservation for a window table if you are planning a special dinner later in the evening...especially nice in the summer at sunset.
Favorites are the pan fried oysters, Caesar salad, chop chop salad, or the seafood Mac and cheese.
This particular Anthony's is located near the boardwalk, so you can walk after your meal and enjoy the waterfront and the people. If you are there on the weekend before 3pm, the farmer's market is within a stone's throw and a great place to buy local organic produce and other products.

We were visiting our daughter in Olympia and had two meals here, lunch and dinner. Both were very good. We had sea food both meals and it was all very prepared and presented. The staff was pleasant. The big windows face west over the marina, so in the evening you can watch the sunset.
